If so, why?

My was talking to my best friend about a new story and discussing options for his character and he told me he would never play a Paladin. I was taken aback as he is Mormon and didn't wanna be bound like a Paladin is.

I've never played a ranger. I'm currently playing my first druid in the twenty years i've been playing D&D (well, I made a druid character once for a game that never got off the ground, but that doesn't really count).

I like some of the mechanics of the druid, but I never liked the wilderness protector theme of the druid or the ranger. The ranger's pretty lame imo.

Not really a fan of playing as a rogue for whatever reason

My favorite class is normally a barbarian, cause they dont know how to read
