South Africa has been deemed the most DANGEROUS COUNTRY for solo female travelers..but AMERICA is the WORST in the WEST!!

The "Women's Danger Index" based on 50 most visited destinations across the globe evaluated 8 crucial risk factors.

These include whether or not women feel safe to walk alone at night, homicide rates and gender inequality.

Travel Bloggers, Asher and Lyric Fergusson found that South Afria was the worst for violence against women by non-partners, homicides and how safe women feel walking alone at night

Thailand, a popular backpacking vacation spot is the worst in the Far East and overall the worst for attitudes towards violence against women

Countries in the Middle east such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirate and Iran came on top for worst for discrimination as far as their roles in society goes.

Croatia, despite being one of the poorest European countries is one of the SAFEST in the world to walk the streets

Spain is deemed the SAFEST in the world just ahead of Singapore and Ireland

America came out the Worst for the west for homicide rates, non-partner sexual violence and intimate partner violence while its neighbor Canada ranked fairly high as most safe and a B rating for female travell\ers

Does it surprise you that America is ranked the most unsafe in the WEST for female travellers?
