Majin Tensei 1 and 2 got translated. So now we have SMT1, 2, If..., Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei, Last Bible 3, and Majin Tensei 1 and 2.

Majin Tensei is a pre-cursor to the Devil Survivor series. Kinda like how SMT If... is a pre-cursor to the Persona games. You can see how the ideas got refined later.

When people said the game to start with was Nocturne I thought it must just be more user friendly, then I learned everything older was like soooooo weird and I guess kinda archaic.
