First Super Mario, baby!
I was literally in diapers. Watched my mom play it, while I was sitting in my tiny Ninja Turtles foam chair. Later she let me play, along with the other 2 Mario's. It was a DOS game. I believe it went 2 levels before you just ran in an endless loop in a castle. Probably downloaded from the same place we got the Red and Green roms from.

I'm informed that it was Mario Bros. for NES but I don't remember that. I did have Allstars + World cartridge for SNES I do remember playing especially SMW and SMB3.

super mario bros is the first game that I remember playing. I also have memories of playing duck hunt at a cousin's house. I was born in 1991, so I'm not actually sure if that's the first game that I've played

Not 100% sure but think for me it was the standalone Super Mario Bros cartridge. the Duck Hunt cartridge was separate, I think.

Super Mario All-Stars on Super NES (the one without Super Mario World). Can't remember which game I played from that collection first since I was like 4 years old but I probably chose Super Mario Bros. 3.

I think Mario Bros. is still a good game for what it is, but I think Donkey Kong is too cheaply difficult. It seems that you always get trapped by barrels with no way to avoid them. ... Copied to Clipboard!

While my first exposure to Mario was Donkey Kong, I don't think it was in the arcade, I think it was on the ColecoVision.

Probably Donkey Kong but I don't really recall it much. I do remember the first time I played Super Mario Bros on NES sometime in 1986, most likely. My parents took me to some house party for some people I didn't really know and they had a NES hooked up and people kept taking turns playing SMB.

SMB1, but Im the only person I know of out of all my friends who had the standalone game. When we got our NES, it was the deluxe package that came with the zapper, ROB, Gyromite & Duck Hunt. So we ended up getting just SMB1 on its own. .
