I never look at country of origin and buy only products I know will last. Even if it's more expensive. As an example, my everyday carry pocket knife is made by a first responder that was tired of all the knives he bough breaking so he made his own

I'd only buy American products if they cost the same as UK products or less in most cases. I mean I already don't buy American imported food as those costs more then UK bought. The only exception is when said American product is one of a kind such as a console. Although I've not bought a Xbox since the 360 so eh.

Yes, if it costs slightly more. BUT...

Actually fucking made in America

Something could be 90% made in China, then final assembly in the U.S., and it'd count as "Made in America."

Same issue I have w/ organic food, really. I'd pay more for it, but the label is fucking meaningless. No strict standards or enforcement to ensure it's what it's claiming to be.
