A 17 y/o Ohio Girl has professed her LOVE to her 27 y/o TEACHER on TRIAL and said she's "completely in love" with her after they were caught having SEX and said it was CONSENSUAL!!

Jennifer Walsh worked as a special education teacher and a girls junior varsity lacrosse coach at Sycamore High School i Cincinnato before resigning last October

She resigned 3 days after a report was made about her sexual relationship with a 17 y/o girl

She plead guilty last month to gross sexual imposition and faces 18 MONTHS behind bars

Judge Jody Luebbers delayed sentencing stating she needed more time to decide as investigators say their relationship was "real"

The girl said "I know in my heart that i am completely in love with this woman, without a doubt". Walsh cried as she was overwhelmed with emotion

The lead investigator is asking for leniency because the student never felt "forced or coerced"

The girl said their relationship was both willing as Montgomery Police Detective Steve Hoy said this case is different from a teacher-student relationship adding he believes this was genuine and said "This relationship, i believe, was actually real. It will probably continue to be real".

Judge Jody said after meeting with the prosecutors and her attorney, she needed to think about this and will decide later on her fate..

Super nope. There might be some room for leniency with a regular teacher, especially where 17 is so close to 18, but special ed? Absolutely not. There's WAY too much room for exploitation there.

I don't see a issue with student and teacher relationships in general providing both are legal. However the law is the law so my answer to this question is no.

I read up more about this, and found out that the student did not have disabilities.

Also, the teacher was only sentenced to probation.
