I can check individual user browsing sessions?! good lord I mean sure it's base-level anonymous so I can't exactly search for a session that belongs to a "user" I'd want to find, but it's fairly trivial identify browsing patterns of browsing users and then all that data is grouped with their device for finding their returning sessions

In Canada, the word duotang is used to refer to any such style of folder regardless of the actual brand

maybe it's because i went to a catholic school, since I think the public school right next to it was K-6 and I think the public school my sister switched to later was 7-8

IIRC all the catholic schools my dad taught at were K-8

my confusion mostly comes from just not really knowing what my parents really believed until late in life

like me and my siblings being put in catholic schools and early in our family we actually did go to church, but after the divorce it all vanished, neither of my parents pushed it individually so I don't really know where the initial treatment came from

my dad's side is christian of some sort, but I dont know how he feels about it, he doesnt like talking feelings. his parents were decently religious and one of my aunts is suuuuuper religious

my mom's side is buddist but as far as I know she does the traditions for my grandparents. she believes it I think but wouldnt do the tradition things if it werent for her parents being around

I think most my mom's family who stayed in Newfoundland or moved to Alberta are at least modestly religious (the super one mentioned moved to Alberta), they're from a very small town and the church dance hall was like the only place to host events. Not so much a thing with the family who moved to the GTA, we're all godless heathens... or new age spirituality hippies

dad's side I hardly even know at all, only saw dad's younger sister a handful of times before she passed... the older sister is always pushing academia and critical thinking buuut she's also quote keen on traditions and history, literally keeping a large family pedigree chart

boy tho dinners with dad's older sister you gotta be prepared on the issues, her idea of table conversation is like demanding everyone put forth an opinion on something like snowden or whatever. once I answered after gbro like 'uh i mean pretty much what he said' and she goes now now you gotta form your own opinions

I realllllly don't know my dad's extended family at allll though, once the older aunt brought me to a birthday of some relative I don't even know from where... and there were soo many people many I assume were extended family and I'm just like uhhhh who are any of these people. My aunt gifted them a cactus btw.

besides cables not being plugged in properly, what could cause a monitor to not work and then start to work again hours later.

i checked the fucking cables and shit like five times and it wouldn't turn on. checked computer with another monitor, worked fine. hooked it up to the original monitor. now it works.

Never raised religious, and only been in church for funerals and preschool. Did read something yesterday on someone's experiences, but it's part of a blog where someone is reading and writing about a set of novels chapter by chapter, and his personal story surrounding his baptism also coincides with some very late His Dark Materials spoilers. But it was very enlightening and painfully honest about some adolescent experiences, but very worth reading. I can PM a link later if you wnt, but it can be very sensitive.
