This is basically what I thought before this topic, but then Corrik said it and ten people yelled at him, so apparently not.

(I knew incel subculture was a thing but I still thought "incel" was a general term for people who can't get laid on a basically permanent basis, whether or not they subscribe to the subculture.)

OK so if you call yourself an incel then you are one but if you fall under the prerequisites to be one however do not call yourself one then you are not one.

There are also people who identify as incels who are not celibate. The issue isn't that they aren't fucking, it's that they don't have sex on demand with the sort of women they feel society owes them while offering nothing in return. And it doesn't matter how much sex they're having or how attractive the women they're having sex with are. It's the same mentality you saw in that article about them getting addicted to plastic surgery; nothing can ever be enough because they are just deeply unhappy people.

Most people have been making friends and hanging out with friends for most of their lives, and now that skillset is actually transferable into romance.

I grant your other comments are legit - e.g. maybe you find someone you really click with on a personal level, but your career paths or financial/medical situation won't work out. But that's always been a thing.

Yeah I really don't understand the "dating is all new and we have no tools to equip us for this journey" idea. Like, in every conceivable way dating is infinitely easier than it used to be. Our parents used to have no choice but to go out and meet people, if there even were any good meeting places where they lived. We live in a world where you can just fire up an app and at least have a shot (if small) of finding someone desirable. To say nothing of stuff like mutuals on social media, which is actually how I met my girlfriend of five years.

The whole incel crowd just strikes me as a mentally ill group with zero self-worth, zero value to society and zero efforts to improve themselves who for some reason feel entitled to bang a different super model every night and are experiencing major cognitive dissonance due to the world not lining up with their warped views. In another time, any one of them would've just been a social outcast or a village idiot, but the magic of the internet has allowed them to congregate and validate one another.

Chasing the ''light'' that doesn't exist, is why the cycle is still ongoing. All forms of old thinking are rooted in chasing that ''light'', all ideologies of the old thinking believe there is a ''fix'', they believe that their ways work, a endless fight, chasing this non-existent ''light''. There is no such thing as ''light''. Only Darkness.

The Left-Wing believes that emotions go first or whatever a false sense of morality, they continue to shove down their nonsense down people's throats and claim that it is ''morally right'' easily win over people. These dangerous ideals condemn us to swift self-destruction and quick collapse, the end of the current cycle. They are militant blue pillers who defend and encourage more blue pillery, the cattle, unenlightened. Not much to say really, they're very basic and foolish. Not any different from your average slave, the blue pilled.

The Right-Wing believes in human nature and believes it's ''better''. admittedly their methods do work, but are temporal so ultimately it is futile and naive. Believing in Human nature is believing in the old thinking, and it will be our downfall. The Right-Wing is a slave to the cycle. They are the redpill, who funnily enough calls it self the ''truth'' and ''enlightened''. The redpill does in fact see the truth I will not deny that, but they do at a superficial level, the redpill only knows a rumor of true knowledge.

I was going to do the paragraph after but holy shit it was exhausting. Who writes a fucking manifesto like this? Hire a proofreader!

wow it gets even more nonsensical as it goes on. I bet the writer read, or at least tried to read a fair bit of Heinlein when he was younger and gravitated to the Sad Puppies faction of scifi/fantasy. This is amazingly self-absorbed, a diatribe that seems to aspire to be the speech a mediocre villain spouts immediately before being gunned down by his own henchmen. It spends a lot of time saying absolutely nothing, which only works at all if it's well-written and enthralling, which this assuredly is not. It breaks down into name-calling, cliche and even edgier nonsense, blaming everything to humanity itself for... whatever ill-defined ills they're facing. Speaking of ill-defined, it uses plenty of terms that it doesn't specify at all. What the hell are "moids"?? Context gives a vague understanding, but it could be as general as meaning everybody except a Darkcel. The rant said it itself; it's "superficial", a farcical manifesto penned by the dregs of society who, despite spending most of their time apparently reading, can't write for shit.
