sometimes people use big words that people don't know and have to look it up later and they PRETEND to know what it means..

so has anyone ever used a big word you didn't know?.

Word? Can't remember. Mindbending management-speak, laced with bullshit buzzwords and baffling acronyms? Trying to forget.

I've spent many a day searching definitions just to make sure I'm using a word in the right way. I'll generally know the gist of a word and correct usage but I look it up to make sure.

Has that happened in the past two years? Almost certainly. I can't think of any specific instances, though. Usually I can infer what a new term means from context, but I'll still generally look it up (if I remember) to nail down its nuance).
