That kind of piercing is definitely one of the worst. Sure it's cool when you flash it to all of your friends, but then it becomes a deal breaker to some SO and you're left with some slag that is prone to infection.

The update to 21st century idealism with a modern cast and cgi graphic enhancements of horror will make this movie superior.
The next generation of people will surely see the imperfections in the original when comparing the two movies.

Yeah that close shot of the gurney wheel was weak and Tim Robbins was so less than prime for that role.

I think Jacob's Ladder had some brilliant shots for the time; the head shaking fast in the back of that speeding car, hospital and bathtub scenes are excellent. I love that Team Silent drew some inspiration from that movie when creating Silent Hill.and Silent Hill 2.
