21 y/o Jordan Lindsey from Torrance, California was horrifically killed while vacationing in the Bahamas after she was seen snorkeling near Rose Island when suddenly THREE SHARKS surrounded her and started attacking her!!

She went with her family on a tour boat that brought visitors to the island for snorkeling and see wild pigs when the sharks appeared

She suffered devastating injuries where her right arm was TORN off as the sharks started eating away at her left arm and both legs and buttocks.

The last fatal shark in the Bahamas was in 2010 which has been a global hotspot for sharks

Her parents said they saw the sharks approaching and yelled to warn her but she didn't hear them on time. She was rushed to shore and taken to a Doctor's Hospital in Nassau where she was pronounced dead

The State Department confirmed the death and her body will now be taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for an autopsy before being transported back to California.

Her father, Michael said "Her name was Jordan Lindsey..we already miss her so much. She was so caring. She loved all animals. It's ironic she would die getting attacked by a shark"

A Gofundme has been set up by her sister, Madison to help with funeral expenses

She was a student at Loyola Marymount University and was set to graduate in 2020 from Environmental Communications

Text Tourist, 32 y/o Jace Holton was on a tour boat with her who took a picture of the shark in the water following the attack. She snorkeled in the exact spot where she was attacked just 45 minutes before the predators approached. It happened just as she got back on the boat when 2 small sharks approached and one larger one was behind

Several tour boat workers jumped into the water to save Lindsey and an Emergency boat arrived to take her to hospital. Holton had wished they had been in there instead as she was a doctor

Her death marks the first fatal shark attack in the Bahamas in more than a decade

There is no word if the sharks will be found and killed as of yet.

Do you think these 3 sharks need to be found and "killed"?

Im sure they could find and kill three sharks but how theyd be sure they were these three sharks I doubt theyd ever be able to tell.

Is it, though? The kind people who are really into nature tend to be more likely to visit outdoor areas where predators live. I don't snorkel in exotic locales and I've encountered exactly zero wild sharks as a result, despite also liking animals.

Why would anyone think that? Sharks doing shark things in their natural habitat isn't wrong. Humans thinking they can swim anywhere however is.

That too is a good point.
