It doesn't have to. But, it means that red had Lolo possibly suicide claim to try and out me. Red knew town visited Chris because they are informed. No one could shoot Chris without assuming protection unless it was a strongman.

I could see Corrik and Lolo both being scum honestly. Corrik is jumping to all sorts of conclusions about his role's effectiveness that I don't like. Seems overly eager to "confirm" himself rather than trying to reason out how kill spread should have gone.

Ok, I'm not willing to vote Cam or HB at the moment. I've been leaning town on Corrik all game because of how he interacted with Puns. That said, just because I think he's town doesn't mean I think he's telling the truth about his role.

I don't know what to think about Lolo.

Warning metaing the meta. Han is interesting and what not. He warned us about meta. This game is clearly different. So, I think I want @UltimaterializerX to weigh in on his thoughts about Han. He's repeatedly said he thinks Han is the best player. I'm very interested at the moment in how Ulti would untangle this mess.

Protection is pretty weak however with by and me not able to actually prevent kills. Just redirect or delay them. Couple that with Lopen's softclaimed Lightning Rod which probably explains why he doubts the protection claims.

I think if the only argument you see against Lolo is flavor based you're dumbing it down. The question is not whether three Harry Potter characters would possibly exist as much as why a town player would feel necessary or beneficial to claim at that time, and that same reasoning goes for Corrik, who for all his shining of lights on the game only really confirmed himself.

^ Lolo doesn't have to be town but it's a suicide claim just to get me to counter that served no purpose. If a town BG exists or a jack with a bg or when we realize it doesn't fit with the setup, he is dead.

...Actually what are the odds we even HAVE a bg? We've had all weird roles so far, right? Redirector, Backup, Mayor, Chronomancer, Opera Singer, weird-sounding flavor scanner of some sort? With Puns retracting his Miller claim, Mayor is the most "normal" role we've had show up unless the meta has changed even more than I realize.

BG + me + LR sounds fine. We can never actually stop a kill but we can move them around and delay them. LR is also a pseudo confirmable role as well.

Here's my thinking why scum Lolo would do this.

1. Sees suspicion of Hb and Cam, knows they're not scum, thinks it's likely one of them gets lynched today.
2. Knows he has some lingering eyes on him
3. Pre-emptively gets a claim out with the idea that it's safer to fakeclaim now, and that Hb and Cam flipping will validate his claim in a way

Keep in mind point 3 is not something I agree with but I do feel like it's a thought process that could run through his head.

Ok, a few minutes away, I feel like from my perspective this has been much ado about nothing. Cam, HB, and Corrik were already on my town list. I don't think we should believe Corrik is 100% truthful about his role or how it works, but I offer this fact. As gladiator last game he hinted protection at one point in order to get Tom lynched and possibly to try to draw a RB from scum since he had gotten one the night before. I was actually expecting him to be making a similar gambit here, hinting at a fake doc claim to get Lolo lynched. But he actually claimed a role. Of course it's a little different because before he had already claimed gladiator the first day.

I'm not ready to vote Lolo though. I'm in a WIFOM situation with him. I hadn't seen enough to have a read on him before his claim. If I'm Lily I 100% try to lynch Voldemort. It's also 100% worth it to claim my role if I think it leads town to lynching scum. What stops me is I'm not sure it was necessary to claim to get to Cam lynched. That claim came out a little quick. Also, could be scum just trying to throw the whole day into confusion.
