I dunno. Isn't it? I mean I feel like Shadow Blade is probably better but maybe not. No idea what the actual high level meta is in this game but Morrigan seems pretty strong

Made a Ryu deck that has 25 black cards in it and is basically a Wesker deck. Metsu Shoryuken on Revenge Guys is pretty strong so it works alright. It's fun facing Weskers in ranked with it. About the same win rate as my Dante deck so far-- does better against black dragon but worse against Morrigan. Seem like at this tier 90% of the matches are those two or Ryu.

Currently 8-2 with this stupid Wesker deck and once again climbing

I think it's worse than my Dante deck but it's better vs the meta in this tier. Heavy use of revenge and use Uroboros to reanimate the 10 cost Epic Bison, who seems to actually be about worth his 10 cost he gives you so much board control between being a beefy sob and reanimating someone with +2/+2 when he dies

Also I've never seen anyone play Wesker like this so it probably throws people off

Any opinions on cards to craft? I am considering crafting a legendary, but considering I dont really know what deck I should roll with, I think it would be pointless at this time.

Think rares and epics are probably better to craft, but I'd just make do what you have then craft things to buff up a deck that clicks with you.

Thinking black dragon spike launch needs a nerf quick. This is getting worse than Smash Bros Brawl here. My stupid Wesker deck is actually decent against it cause the hp pools are crazy high but yeah, the repetition is bugging me.

Finally got to A5. Decided to just get a few upgrades for my Dante deck after I lucked into Devil Trigger. Made 2 Dark Hold and a third Ibuki and am playing him as a scrub damage racer.

Devil Trigger is actually kinda useful. It's won me some games. Ebony and Ivory require too much AP for how the deck plays now so some extra life is nice especially since I've been burning so much of it with the 2 cost pay half your life counterspell.

Dumbest Dante mirror ever

I sit there because he's sitting there. He's ranked like 20 and I'm A3 so he's either up to something or has no units.
I have Ibuki + Dark Hold so I decide I'm gonna just sit there till 12 seconds left, see if Ibuki can chip him for the win.
I play Ibuki with 12 seconds left. He brainwashes her. I Dark Hold her, he plays a negate on it, I play the half life negate (I lose easily if he lets this through) but he gets greedy and plays the half life negate on my negate

So he's left with 15 life and I just devil trigger and ignore the damage from my Ibuki and win at time over with my 30 life to his 15.

Think I'm the only person still playing this but I'm getting champion dammit. At least this Dante out races these black dragon decks most of the time.

Well I beat the game. Probably no more except for daily missions until Grand Prix opens up or new content is added. Don't see much incentive to rank grind.

I'd basically say I got here entirely with Dante. Wesker mostly just treaded water in B ranks. Fun deck but not good enough to win reliably. Dante speed deck was really good against Black Dragon in general. They tend to fill their board up so you can clog them by just repeatedly halting the guy opposite your flying resonate stompy guy. This makes it hard for them to have a strong spike launcher cause they can only play so many cards once their creature slots are locked in. Ryu was actually the real speedbump. Feel like I lost like 75% of matches against him and there were a lot. Epic Lady hard counters Dante amusingly. Wesker was also kinda annoying cause a lot of them had the 6 cost removal which is hard to counterspell.

Not many changes I'd make. I've noticed a lot of people don't actually run normal Dante but I think he's useful just to more reliably have a dude in your opening hand. He's honestly good enough even though you'd prefer Hsien-Ko or Ibuki, especially if you draw Devil Trigger. Vergil has won me the game a few times too. Sometimes just need a bit of extra chip damage and giving him flight is enough. The random generic 1/5 demon would be just better but screw that. (I still hate it's just better than Vergil). I'd probably put the mind control thing in over one of the Dantes if I had it but yeah deck clicks okay.

I'm still enjoying it. Especially with the announcement they're nerfing the black dragon's Spike Launch soon (today, I think?) to 20 AP (from 17) and max of 12 damage dealt (from no max). I'm in Champion so I can obviously play around it cause if Black Dragon was a losing matchup I wouldn't be able to increase rank with 75% of people using him, but it's definitely OP. Ryu is actually worse (not because he's OP just cause Shinku Hadoken + red units hard counter my deck so hard) but I'm learning how to get around him.

Game kinda needs a lot more balance updates than that but I can see why they'd play conservative on all but the most egregious stuff right now. I really would like to use a hero art that isn't Devil Trigger but at high level the other two aren't really usable in their current state. I actually think hero arts are the most poorly balanced thing in the game right now and there aren't too many actual cards that need it. Maybe the MP Charge 50 Iris but most of the other stuff seems pretty okay. Some underpowered stuff but not a lot of overpowered stuff on the card front.

New hero is coming out soon too. Kinda feel like the game needs a new expansion set pretty quickly cause the meta seems really paper-rock scissors right now but I guess it's only been out a month.

Overall I think Jill's deck was bad for the game.

1/6 combo and 1/9 combo for 3 and 4 respectively seem really poorly thought out. I feel combo shouldn't really exist at those costs, especially with such high toughness-- it's just too strong a mechanic with how buffs work. I feel Ryu's Metsu Shoryuken is actually balanced and you pay quite a premium for it. Rathalos with a bajillion buffs was already super strong without those guys available to use.

As for Jill herself she doesn't really seem to add much in terms of interest, for me. Her bazooka is the only good hero art she has. The second one seems too gimmicky and just doesn't have enough good explore cards to use it with at the moment, and the third one seems too weak. I'd actually really like to try the second art (grab 2 explore cards) with resonate but in two color you don't have a lot of interesting options with resonate unfortunately cause of the 5 mana cap.

Explore is a cute mechanic but yeah more bad than good overall.
