Maybe i should reconsider what i am. Have always said bi. But I would make some exceptions. Hell go even further and i mostly prefer guys but would make some exceptions for women. Basically im more shallow when it comes to anyone but men.

Always said bi though as growing up it was the most broad term I knew. Dont think I heard pan until I was out of school.

No. I believe the idea is binary people stick to their bilogical gender/sex and non binaries dont. As odd as it sounds basically this person just isnt interested in people like themself

At worst, we're talking about one or two monosyllabic words that will only ever be used to refer to a tiny handful of people when they specifically request it (and even then, most non-binary folks are fine with "they," which is already used in circumstances where somebody's gender is unknown). So ignore it. The only reason anyone feels the need to proclaim a specific sexual identity is because defining it make it easier to defend against people who try to reject it as being somehow invalid. If the response is instead "okay," then there's no need to defend it anymore and people will no longer feel the need to make a big deal out of it. The only way to make it go away is with ambivalence, not opposition.

So the ignore it and move on approach. Makes sense, if people acted more like they do in real life on the internet, it'd be better but some of these oddities are actually terrible human beings.

If someone on the street acted like some of these people do on the internet, your options would be to fight of flight or call the cops. If you have no self-control and a temper, sometimes you deserve a good slap.

I'm equating an arbitrary linguistic modification to another. The fact that you don't see the connection suggests your main objection is the extent, but do you not see how allowing one mad wording opens the floodgate to a whole slew of others under the same reasoning?

LGB became LGBTBBQ with the DCI-P3 spectrum flag on this same basis, opening the door to unfettered self-identification.
