That sounds like poor synergy among members of the group. They cleared, I know you can rock the hell out of content, but sometimes parts of a group do not make a solid whole, no matter how good the parts.

3s seems easy so far. progging Tsunami 2. Got the boss down to like 35% or something in our best attempt. I think we're gonna clear it and get to 4 this week. I hear black smokers is the hardest part, but I think that's the last mechanic before enrage. So we must be close to that.

After I have a place with Internet again, without restrictions, I'll need to replace my keyboard, headphones, and screen. I am so not looking forward to these expenses on top of everything else I'm having to pay (bicycle repairs, paying back my folks for helping me the last couple months, security deposit and whatnot for new place, and whatever else I am missing).

Once I can play again, I want to start streaming on Twitch as I catch up on my main character, maybe get some catch-up going on Lyra, and try out the compact msq coming in 5.3 using my Viera alt.

I may also stream the 2.0 version of BTB's Brave New World and use the platform to boost sales on my book(s). We'll see.

Our static mnk is out of town this week (he was here for 1 and 2 loot at least), so we picked up a friend to practice E3S with us. This friend managed to oneshot E4S on week 2 after clearing it week 1 so he's uhhh pretty good. Has nearly 100k health on bard too....

We saw black smokers once and consistently get to Tsunami 2, though usually don't come out of it with zero deaths. It's a pretty neat fight.

Tsunami 2 is going a little better, and we're getting to it more consistently. Having a little trouble actually getting the cones to point at the correct tank. >_> Those go out fast after the stacks.

Blah. So last night I had a dream where I got into E4s for shiggles, and Paper was there until he DC'd during the final phase. The seven of us remaining continued to clear it one-shot, and I was excited enough to write here about it, though apologetic to Paper for missing it.

We haven't cleared 3s yet because the day were raiding the first time, there was a huge string of disconnects. By the time we got to 3 we only had two pulls left in us, and one of them had another disconnect. Game was buggy that night.

Also I was not on last night, but some members of my static cleared 4s, so we should be good for this coming week hopefully.

Yeah as a group we've seen to phase 2. But individually, people have been all over that fight, and like I said, a few cleared. lol It's a very difficult, suiting the final fight of the tier.

Got a bunch of drops this week, got 6 whole ilvls. And with that I broke the 100k HP barrier on DRG. :D Also saw to phase 3 in e4s tonight. We're planning to see enrage on Thursday and to start potting.

In any case, once we're all above 470, or at least around it, we can probably group up with some competent folks and get numerous clears of O4s for glam, mounts, or achievements. I want to assign that winged danger noodle to my Dnc; that would be cool.

I'll also need to get the raining doggos and assign the purple one to my Mnk so I'll once again be content with what-all I have set up for my classes/jobs.

got titan to 2% last night after some arguments over uplift strategy

pld really pushed for a variable strat that ensures most of the time that tanks lose no gcds (orange to 3 safespots; if melee are orange, move north; if both ranged are orange, move south; if there's any discrepancy people other than orange have to move) and we agreed to try it out if melee/tank would call out if they had orange and were tanking a north spot

there has never once been a melee callout and we wiped to it for hours, and our pld (the biggest culprit for not calling shit out then laying blame on other people) kept throwing out the excuse "well my OTHER group doesnt have to call anything out and it works fine" without trying to solve the problems we were having

i should also note that two of our raid members are completely new and had just hit 70 days before shadowbringers came out (mnk+drg), another two's first raid tier was alphascape (ast+mch), two of us were long-returning players (me sch+drk; i only raid first and second coils), and only two had been keeping up with the game for years (pld+blm)

we went back to the other strategy of fixed orange positioning because he steadfastly refused to call anything out and entered phase 3 at 26% hp lol

It sucks that I will be missing the game until a couple weeks or so into 5.1, but at least it looks like I will be back in mid November. I am currently awaiting an exchange between my apartment office and workplace for some verification, and then it'll be Nov 9 or 11 when I move in, followed by getting some Internet going.

lol grats! Last night we had to pug a tank for 4s. somehow, even with the increased dps from the chest and lance, we still just *barely* cleared. like the screen went black right when enrage finished filling. but my parse did improve dramatically so maybe I wasn't the problem idk. Then some friends were like "hey paper can you help us with e2s? we need a bump in dps to get past enrage" and so I was like "sure no problem" we didn't even get close to enrage. >_>

Got 1 coating, we had to quit early cus our WAR's internet kept crapping out half way through 3s, so we said screw it we'll do it Thursday. We are NEVER going to get all 4 in one night. XD We are eternally cursed.
