For the record: When I was in school, we didn't have this, so I can't relate and, honestly, thought it was a joke someone made up.

For those like me who never knew about it, basically, in school, all the boys would have their penis inspected by the GYM TEACHER. (Not like a nurse or doctor or anything, just some dude who probably didn't even have an associate's degree.)

To those who went through this bizarre situation: Do you now feel like you were forced into something that was both unnecessary and, at the very least, "sketchy?"

This isn't normal? My gym teacher would schedule mine on the weekends, taking time out of his day for mine, and he would even pick me up and take me to his house. No funny stuff, just a good teacher helping a young man clean his ween.

We had a real doctor show up once a year for genital inspection. Eventually in high school they would just have you jump on one foot instead. Never understood why they did that. This was NY btw.

I guess my levels were low because I was always third string.

Which one? There was penis inspection day when we had to check the principals the there was the day the gym teacher checked ours.

I figured as much, but man, people were so insistent that this was real. Like, IRL I had people, with no acting ability, telling me this was real. People I trust... I'm going to have a nice little conversation with those people the next time I see them. xD

Well, there is nothing to indicate it's was a thing. There are articles of documents that turned out to be school pranks. It's pretty obvious it didn't happen, but don't take my word for it, check for yourself.

I just saw this on a bodybuilding forum from years ago:

Did anybody else's high school have penis inspection day?

Like when you first started the human growth and development course or whatever they had you go into a room one by one so they could check your penis and make sure it was growing/working functionally. All the boys went to the locker room and the teacher would inspect our penises to see if they are growing ok. He blew in them to make sure they were air tight. It felt a little weird though, he told us not to tell our parents. Is penis inspection day suppose to be a surprise??

I asked my friend about it and he said no he didnt remember, but I know it was a nation wide thing, my gym teacher said so.

I can't believe I listened to my friends... dude, how many years later is it and I still thought it was real? xD Oh my God... I'm so stupid! XD
