The content is excellent, but it's basically impossible for me to get over how absolute garbage the show looks.

I just finished watching all of season 1 again last week and it's even more drastic than I remember. There are literally shots of just regular civilians running through the city in season 1that look better than the absolute best action shots season 2 has to offer.

I'm the kind of guy that doesn't let those kind of things bother me, which is why seeing Xiahou Shake talk about FPSes and whatever is baffling to me

...but even I can see the drop in quality in animations. Theres sudden bumps in quality sometimes but they don't do much in them either. and then it goes back to normal and it gives you whiplash

however the show is still fine

I forget his name, but for the first half of the season they had one animator doing extremely high quality 10-15 second shots, and that was all he did. It's VERY OBVIOUS whenever he does a scene.

There was also the strangley high quality CG centipede that was outsourced to another studio.

Other than that....it's butt. They don't even bother to put in backgrounds sometimes.

broken ribs, injured legs, high fever, poisoned

took alot for Garou to be brought down for A and B class to stand a chance lol

The animation quality is a notable drop but it's still good enough. Besides, the initial webcomic has a drawing style of ass so it's definitely not the primary focus of the series.

At first i wasn't sure where we were going in the anime, was worried about it getting too rushed, but now it's pretty perfect timing.

animation aside it just feels like nothing big really happened through that set of 12 episodes. Really just establishing the monster association as a thing for Season 3

There's probably enough content to do a 3rd season quickly (Season 2 went up to chapter 84 and there's 113 chapters currently)

but then you'd have to have another 3 year break after that

I dunno if they're not allowed to use it anymore or what, but the main theme was sorely missed this season

HOWEVER

They got it back during Saitama's final punch

and it was a Serious Punch too!

So good!

but yea, not a good place to end it,like I mentioned before I had no idea this was the last episode

I really don't want to wait a few more years, I hope they get something going in 2020
