The first couple seasons are both 3 episodes iirc What really annoys me is the Hulu just released the first three episodes of Handmaids Tale new season. wolfy42 06/05/19 6:47:21 PM #7:	First episode I did not like at all, and honestly there should be trigger warnings on shows about cheating, as it can really mess people up. I have a friend who just ended a marriage over this crap and I had to warn him not to watch the espisode. Hope the other two are better. The first episode of season 5 is the first time I have disliked an episode even close to as much as season 1 episode 1. I did actually finish watching this one though. I'm fine with 3 episodes if they are good, that is still 3 solid hours of good entertainment. Last season I think was 6 episodes and I only liked 3 of them really. This season I might like 2 of them (if the other two are good). While watching this season I kept thinking, damn, even the new twilight zone was better than this. Minor spoilers: I'm anti-cheating so really didn't like the first episode, and there was no reason to have cheating be a part of it. Do the same story, just have nobody be married. The second episode was stupid, drawn out, and not really even in the same realm as most other black mirror episodes, it's not even semi-futuristic, in fact it could be a history piece at this point. I don't like shows about cheating or that make it out to be ok etc, but that is a personal thing, maybe some people would like the first episode. It certainly wasn't too dark, it was just ....unenjoyable to watch for me. The second episode was just boring, predictable, and not sci-fi/futeristic based. It was, actually, almost retro black mirror, like if black mirror was made 20 years ago or something. The third episode touched on common black mirror themes, but did so in a very tired, over done manner, I'm not even gonna start listing how many times that has been done to death, but funnily enough one of them is in another netflix original series that is coming out this month...Jessica Jones.....so yeah, it had the theme going, but used it in a way that was not new, and again, was extremely predictable. Not one of the episodes made me think, made me emotional, made me interested.
