i already have imposter syndrome for this job

now he's saying that he's really impressed with my work and wants me to take on more stuff because he trusts me compared to other colleagues

i hate this because in my mind i feel like i'm gonna let him down once he sees what i'm actually capable of

i'm a content editor for a netflix/hbo go style app but for a TV company

as in if you get TV through us then you get a bunch of on demand content and i work to editorialise that + work on our app

Sounds like hes already seen what youre capable of and thought highly of it, and you. Will you at least get more money for the extra work? Or a chance to move up if you keep doing what youre doing? Additional stress sucks but if there are some positives to along with it then it could be a good opportunity.

i dont think ill get any more money by doing it but itll help my career development and i might be able to put in a strong case into eventually getting s higher pay
