Hit 60 with Rogue today, so Druid is the only class left. I wanted to try and grind them out but I legitimately have no idea what to play with Druid. I'd need to spend half my dust to craft a good Lucentbark deck and I'd hate to spend that much on a class I don't plan to continue playing once I reach 60. I dislike playing token in general. Might have to move to wild for a bit and play some terrible Reno Druid or something.

Aaand just continued a winstreak straight into wild legend. #239, wow. Last time when I got to legend on the 31st day of the season, I was super duper dumpster tier, like #7000+.

I did luck out a little bit by facing mostly aggro decks at the end. Hench Clan Hogsteed is mostly an anti-aggro tech.

For that push it was probably 3 hours a day for those 5 days. But if I didn't have a clear goal there is a good chance I'd just not play. I'm aleasy pretty much not interested in the game right now. I just stopped playing when I hit rank a couple days after because I kept running into cyclone mages with teched frost novas and there is very little I can do to beat that with token druid.

The game right now has the most rng it has ever had. I know some people might disagree with this but I think the best the game was was when Raza priest, tempo rogue, cubelock, jades, quest rogue etc were in the format because even though power level wise that might have been a little much, it was one of the highest skill cap formats in the game with among the lowest levels of rng or decks that massively abused card generation being played.

The mobile reconnect parts sound fantastic if they work - being able to swap apps to reference stuff and not having to reload the game would make mobile deck-building a lot less painful.

There's a new section in the collection manager called Featured Cards, which right now shows you the buffed cards and the new legendary. Kind of neat, but not sure how much use it's going to get.

I can't believe how fast this patch was after the nerfs. Like...I hadn't fully figured out the meta after the rogue nerfs, and now essentially 19 new (mostly) strong cards.

One of these days there's going to be a co-op brawl that proves me wrong, but the Asia region is the only region where I ever get paired up with idiots. This one is no exception. Four games, so far at least, and none of them even close to successful. Two of them against opponents who were clearly unaware that we were even playing on the same team.

Wing 5 having 4 more bosses is a pain even on normal. I died to the last boss, and I think I would have needed to draw the immune Mukla treasure on curve to win, he just put out so much.

I haven't played, or even looked at or read about heard about etc. hearthstone in a long time. since whenever they released that one solo thing where there was like a series of puzzles to solve, like board clears and stuff, whenever that was

just looked up this card because I always like playing hunter. wow. I can't believe they actually made that haha

I finished the normal final wing on my first shot, had the dice that randomize your costs and ended up with something like nine copies of Kel'thuzad in my deck. Never came across anything that could win back the board once things started rolling.

Heroic wiped me out twice so far, but I haven't been able to really put together a deck that was even decent, let alone crazy like I had on the normal run.

Not sure if I'm disappointed that you no longer draft cards during the extra four bosses or thankful that my deck doesn't get too bloated.

Like they always release these flashy cards to try to force the hunter meta and it seems to fall flat

Deathstalker Rexxar was a-m-a-z-i-n-g, but stuff like Emeriss and this guy, it's like, why. Why are you doing this

Of course I'm largely talking out my ass atm because I haven't looked at recent sets

That said I always played unconventional decks anyway, for shits. Never cared about getting legend or whatever

Hemet, Jungle Hunter with a ton of early stall cards, Dire Frenzy, that one battlecry/deathrattle recruit a beast card, and just a few heavy beasts will probably always be my favorite deck that I've played

Zul'jin isn't bad by any means, he's just not an auto-include like Rexxar was.

Edit: The Paladin OTK you can get in single player is silly. Infinite damage on turn two sometimes.

This is what I get for taking Wisdomball while trying to cheat with the Paladin OTK. Not only was the free Sound the Bells the bottom card of my deck, Wisdomball adjusted it to cost 10 so I couldn't even play it. Expert level trolling, 9/10 only because my otherwise terrible deck still managed to win.

That's Ragnaros, generated from Unexpected Results, hitting a 1 in 8 to kill me - Wisdomball transformed a 1/1 into Majordomo (who then immediately died to a boosted Arcane Explosion) immediately after I played my Druid death knight. I survived for 3 turns after that, even with a greater arcane missiles (into a full board).

I think that deck could have cleared too, the random cost passive does a lot of work.

Zul'jin is really, really good though. Like, he's run in about 50% of all hunter decks right now, which is fairly impressive when you consider that the most popular hunter archetype is Goblin Bomb mech hunter with almost no spells.

Basically any hunter deck that does run a decent number of spells wants him, and in a deck with spells he often wins the game on the spot when played.

Like he isnt gonna heal and most likely isnt gonna clear the board unless you have numerous deadly shots but he will create minions for you, draw cards, and play secrets for you, which is awesome

I mean, he's different.

Yogg was neutral, and rarely used in hunter. Know what deck would love to have yogg right now? Cyclone mage.

There's also the part where you can power up Yogg with a bunch of 0 mana and 1 mana spells; like you can power up Yogg with wild growth and innervate and raven idol. Spells that would basically do nothing if replayed by Zul'jin. With Zul'jin you want your spells to have some actual meat to them like Animal Companion and Deadly Shot and Unleash the Beast.

Depends.

As a ladder deck, Murloc shaman is fine. You hit people in the face, and that's a pretty good way to be a successful ladder deck. HSReplay does in fact have Murloc Shaman as a tier 1 ladder deck.

As a tournament deck, I'm not sure I've ever seen a pro bring murloc shaman to a tournament. NPH doesn't even bother putting murloc shaman in their tier list.

Is arena bugged at all? I'm 2-2 so far in the run I just started, but the screen says I have three wins. I know for sure I've only got two because I just finished the quest to win two games with Mage right after the latest game and I just started playing this run today.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

Edit: Lost the next game to finish 2-3, screen says I went 3-3 and the prizes I got for it were 3-3 level prizes.

Apparently you can get drops for watching the twitch channel again today, had it on in the background and got a RoS pack. Assuming it's for X hours like last time, not sure if there's random packs again as well.

Supposedly the stream also has to be on top. If it's in a background tab it will consider you inactive and it won't tick the clock for packs.

I can personally confirm you don't need to have it in an active tab to get the packs for watching for X hours, as I've had it on in the background about 90% of the time so far. Even when I do have it playing in the active tab Twitch has me listed as away/inactive or whatever it means when the green dot in the corner turns pink. I've never been able to figure out what exactly triggers that as I can be actively watching a steam and even chatting and it inevitably happens.

Well, finally got my pack as of 14 minutes ago. IDK why I didn't get it yesterday, maybe because I didn't watch on Friday while I was at work?

In other news, I've been super underwhelmed by Luna's Pocket Galaxy in this tournament. 70% of the time it seems to just sit in hand the entire game.

The packs are supposed to be 3 hours and 6 hours cumulative, for a pack each, but I think the first pack is dropping at 4 hours instead of 3. Considering last time it rewarded on 4 cumulative hours, maybe they messed up the first trigger.

Do classes level up slower in Wild? Trying to get Druid to 60 is going to be a long journey to begin with but it feels like I'm getting half the experience I was getting in standard.

New brawl is another one of the custom formats.

I'm not as excited about this one as the last one. Last one was interesting cause it was the two mech sets together and the two hero power sets together. So like mech decks, but also inspire+even/odd decks, I actually crafted Coldarra Drakes for that brawl.

This one is...sets that start with the letter G. (Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, Whispers of the old Gods, and Rhastakan's Rumble...which is a G set cause it features Gurubashi or something).

Best deck I've found is just the pile of shaman stuff deck. 7 Jade cards. 4 mana 7/7. Thing from Below. Dopplegangster+Evolve. Devolve.

I tried Jade Druid at first but it's not as good as it sounds. Some people are swearing by a C'Thun/Jade hybrid.

Priest seems to be the only control deck, as they have the only big board sweepers (Dragonfire Potion and Mass Hysteria). They also have just dragon synergy in general (Secret Agent Coming Through) with dragon synergy seeming to be the only cross-block synergy that people have found so far.

I got killed by a handbuff face hunter once, but that might have just been a result of me playing Jade Druid which doesn't seem to be all that great.

Some people are reporting results with control dragon warrior too (again Dragon Synergy is just about the only theme in common with these sets).

Gurubashi Hypemon seems actually good in this format. Jade Spirit, Aya, and Blade of C'Thun are all pretty good discovers for a 1 mana 1/1 copy, and all class battlecries so have much higher discover chances. And you can also discover a 1 mana Yogg, C'Thun, or N'Zoth. I'm just not sure what the rest of the Rogue deck should look like.

I know it's usually Ulti's shtick to complain about randomness, but I played like 6 games today, and every one of them was decided by the good fortune of one player or the other. Which is not to say the luck didn't all run one way, but I played brawl today. C'Thun deck vs C'Thun deck. I'm beating my opponent down until he draws his C'thun, clears my board, and has a giant taunt in my way. I'm going to lose in two turns...except I then pull my C'Thun and hit face enough to kill him. Then there was the next game, where I put C'Thun in play against a mage, except they randomly generated Freezing Potion and Shatter off the same Cabalist Tome. Either of those is a useless card by itself, but in tandem they kill my win condition, and I'd already played the Doomcaller for tempo. But my favorite is beating an opponent on the wild ladder by doing a Maelstrom Portal to clear a paladin's board, getting a Lightwarden, and then dropping a Healing Rain to give myself a 25/2 he couldn't answer. (Also had a game against a big priest where he got a perfect Mass Hysteria that left his minion intact, AND he Psychic Screamed my deck full of totems twice, and I still drew perfectly enough to answer with a Shudderwork that reloaded the board a final time.)
