I might not care that much but Christians do. A lot of them have always looked up to him as one of their ranks. And it's a common belief that his religious views are part of what inspired his writing. Lord of the rings is very allegorical to religion. Dude was so Catholic when his church started saying that mass in English, he would still loudly say it in Latin. Plus there's his discussions and all that with C.S. Lewis. Plus his works are so obviously inspired by his catholic beliefs. specialkid8 05/22/19 4:38:02 PM #9:	As much as I love his work I've never been too interested in his life, or really any famous persons life. on top of that most bibliographies are over-dramatized and change so much stuff that they barely tell the real story.
