going over every game in my backlog/that i'm remotely interested in playing and deciding whether they're worth playing/finishing instead of actually playing them and finally giving some games the axe once and for all.

because i like planning to do stuff more than actually doing stuff. how long can i keep this up

Sonic 3 & Knuckles

i'm giving at least one of these games or Sonic 3 the axe today. or save all of them and give two games the axe tomorrow hmm.

Super Mario RPG - i have no idea if the current consensus is that the game is still worth playing nowadays. i don't know too much about it except i think it has that timed-hit battle system/mechanic that that's in Superstar Saga and Paper Mario??? oh and Geno's in it. I don't have any way of playing this officially so that's another hurdle. 50/50 save/axe atm.

Castlevania: SotN - i gotta get in on the meme game. PS Classic version on PSN or the new update which i heard changed some things? 70/30 save/axe

Diddy Kong Racing - i just want to try this out. there's a DS remake but iirc there were some differences that it would be better to just seek out other unofficial methods of playing the original version.

PaRappa the Rapper - I've been enamored with the idea of playing this since I first saw the Bathroom Rap, which has subsequently been viewed multiple times throughout the years, but I have never seen the PS4 remastered version go on sale which is the only thing that's been stopping me because I keep telling myself it'll go on sale eventually. I'm not expecting anything amazing but I think I'll like it.

Banjo-Kazooie - No official way of playing it because I will never own any system it is currently on. This was actually like the second game I ever owned I think. Was like 8 years old and I was gifted with it along with my N64. Played the first two levels over and over because whenever I got to Clanker's Cavern I just swam around for like 10 minutes or so unable to figure out what to do. Nostalgia factor but I'm wondering if it's even worth the effort of going back to. 50/50 save/axe.

Final Fantasy Tactics - Actually bought this on PSN a month or two ago while it was on sale. Now to see how long I'll go without playing it.

Metal Gear Solid - One of the big series that I don't really have that much interest in but still on here because it's such a big game that I feel I should at least try and play some of it before giving up on. Elements of the game I've heard about like the stealth-based gameplay or the loooong cutscenes don't exactly encourage me.

Final Fantasy V - Interested in Faris as a character which is the bulk of the reason why this game is on here.

Pokemon Snap - I'll play this eventually. 100% saved and only here to maybe have its priority influenced.

Perfect Dark - Most likely candidate to get the axe from first glance. I've forgotten the reason why I should care enough about this to search out and play.

Super Mario RPG is still the best Mario RPG of them all. That gets my vote.

I was going to vote for Snap but then I read your description of it and that made me decide to vote DKR instead.

And yeah don't play the DS version of DKR
