I checked out the Hime Gyaru page out of curiosity, and got a little bit freaked out. (Although you could say that about most pages.)

I forgot about that B-Kei though; I saw that video about it a few years ago. Based on that and stories my cousin shared from when he was stationed in Japan, I think I'd actually have a chance of getting laid there. >.>

Finished up the first season of Tegami Bachi. Nearly watched all of it in one day, which isn't something I've done for a while. It's not very much like Kino's Journey like I was hoping, though it's still decent. It's kind of slow, but nice to watch.

Played a bit more MH:W too. Took down a couple more hr Anjas. Still need two more monster hardbones so I can upgrade my hammer once more. I am considering trying out a different weapon though. I do like being able to stun monsters with hammer headshots, but not being able to cut tails sucks. Wish I could use a huge axe that plays similarly to the hammer. Was thinking of trying out the long sword.

Anyone wanna recommend a good vn that has ero scenes? It doesn't have to be focused on ero, but it's nice when they're there. Grisaia main series had a pretty good balance. I do have some vns on Steam, but I know not all of them have ero stuff.

Think Grisaia is the only one I've played through pretty much completely. Well, Euphoria too, but I think I was missing some of that. Had started one last night, but it wouldn't let me save for some dumbass reason.

Saw a previews clip for Code Geass on NF which showed part of the first or second episode so I decided to rewatch the first two episodes since that was my favorite part of the show... but the Clovis arc runs into the third episode so now I'm kinda rewatching that and thinking I might rewatch a bit further. Granted, I'm skipping a lot of the school stuff because I don't feel like seeing most of that again, sans the relevant Kallen scenes.

I've been thinking about rewatching code geass again soon as well. I think I've seen it all the way through 7 times so far. One of the only anime I actually rewatch. Given how popular it and death note were and still are, I'm sad we really don't get many of those mental battle strategy type shows.

I watched the castlevania animated thing a few days ago. It was ok. The combat sounds seemed off somehow but I couldn't really explain how specifically. They just didn't feel punchy enough or something. I appreciated that the fights happened without a bunch of cutaways or inner monologues. The action spoke for itself even with the iffy sound effects. I don't know why thats so hard for anime to do. I mean... I do know why, because it requires a lot more animation so they just use the other stuff as filler padding, but I hate it. A good fight scene even with a crazy power system should require zero words to understand what is happening if the directing and animation is on point.

That being said, Crunchyroll picked up several mecha classics (e.g. Baldios and Goshogun, plus the original Dancouga), so that's given me something to watch.

Ran out of anime again, since I finished up Tegami Bachi. Back to watching Castle, on s7 of it. GoT ends in a few days, so I can watch the last two seasons of that, but it's still a long ways off for this anime season to end. Started up GTA5. The dialogue in it is pretty damn funny.

Play pso2 on PC. It's good but ultra repetitive after a short while. Best netcode I've ever experienced by a mile. Honestly even that doesn't do it justice. I can play on fucking japanese servers in groups and have everything feel like I'm playing offline. Admittedly allies can sometimes blink around from desync but that doesn't effect how the game plays at all. It's mag system is stupid.

Just a good all around clip. I wish I liked the gameplay of those games better. I feel like with 20% more effort from the dev team, I could actually finish another mainline nep game, but as it is I always end up burning out half way through.

Dear fellow anime/manga friends.

I am just finishing up the light novel Solo Leveling. I was reading the online comic, but....waiting each week for the next one was sooooo slow and eventually I couldn't wait, and switched to the light novel instead.

I have mostly done that (reading it) for the last two days and am about to finish.

Are there any other light novels you would recommend that are as good?

I am reading it at readlightnovels.org so I see many other ones to read, but would love something similar (with leveling up and stuff....dnd type stuff rocks as well etc.

I have of course watched of Grimgar and Ash and I read the original Sword Art Online (and watched the first season). Would love another really good light novel though!!

Watched what's out of demon slayer. It's really good so far. The animation is top notch and the water effects when he uses his sword are something I haven't really seen before. I'm kinda bummed I started it. As soon as I finished the last episode I immediately went to hit the next episode button bu there wasn't one. Pleasantly surprised so far.

Just read all of the solo leveling manga. Considering switching to the novels. I think at the very least I will finish up this arc in it.

I so wish this wasn't something I had to read. I think an anime of it would be very solid. Also lol korean names are funny. That one guy's last name was literally dong-suk. Definitely does help that the manga is full color and makes very good use of it's color. Still, without motion or sound, it's so much less enjoyable. i don't know how you people manage to read manga that isn't exceptional.

I did switch to the novels but then my mysterious health issue that went away like 6 years ago came back all of a sudden. I forgot how awful this is. Lightheaded and dizzy to the extreme as well as a feeling of doom. A lot like a panic attack but here it is a day later and I get dizzy spells every few minutes. Hopefully it's a one off. I got no medical insurance so hopefully I can find a cheap way to get to a doctor.

The solo leveling novels are still pretty good but sadly the good translator that did solid formatting got a C&D letter not long after where the manga is at so I've been reading mediocre translations since then.

Damn it accidentally Marathoned this seasons cour of attack on Titan, now I'm on a cliff hanger halp

Seems I've survived my condition for now. My blood pressure was pretty damn high (154/104) but it's finally down to normal levels. Almost went to the ER but fortunately it seemed to improve right when I was ready to leave. Now I can be slightly less financially boned when I go to the doctor on Tuesday assuming it doesn't come back. I'm sure the doctor's won't tell me anything useful anyway, they never do.

Ugh, and now I've run into another obstacle to completing solo leveling. After chapter 136 it seems like the new group was blasted with C&D letters and now I have to search harder. Such a pain.

Just been watching live action stuff. Watched s7&8 of GoT, watched s8 of Castle, and now I've started on Torchwood. Torchwood is like shittier Dr Who. Mainly waiting for the anime season to end. I did watch a couple anime movies recently though. The Cat Returns and Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo. Neither movie was amazing, but both were solid.
