I don't think Other M was bad. Atleast it was pretty enjoyable on the gameplay front, with my only major issue being the dumb pixel hunt moments. Story-wise it was definitely a mess, even then I feel complaints can get a bit blown out of proportion. Overall mixed game for me

I'm the total opposite, lol. I felt like the story was actually pretty good but the gameplay ruined it. Even the dumb parts of the story were clearly included just to canonize gameplay elements. Not to mention how people always overlook Samus' clear reluctance to Adam's terms and the fact that she gets fed up with and ignores them by the end of the game anyway.

The pixel hunts were total BS, but so was that quickdodge move. As long as you're tapping the d-pad in any direction, you are invincible. And to make matters worse, it fully charges your arm cannon, which makes you overpowered in addition to invincible. It would be bad enough if it ended there, but it doesn't, becsuse what use does an invincible heroine who can charge her gun instantly have for health upgrades or charge speed upgrades? So not only did they cut the number of unique colpectable upgrades to 0, they limited the number of upgrade types to 3, then they deprecated two of them themselves. There's pretty much no point in exploring at all. In a Metroid game.

But at least it was better than freaking Prime Hunters. I missed out on the multiplayer, which was supposed to be really good, but the SP was abysmal.

Honestly, It surprises me how nobody, whether it be Other M haters or fans, ever seems to bring up how Samus uses her screw attack without any authorization, and does so with a snarky "any objections, Adam?"...

I really didn't like Metroid Prime Hunters' single player either, nor did I check out it's multiplayer. The only thing I remember about the game was that it had some pretty impressive graphics for the DS. Otherwise it was a very forgettable, unimpressive game to me and very weak compared to the Metroid Prime trilogy.

Nocturne is the worst SMT game (or at least the worst to come out in NA).

Microtransactions are mostly harmless and, in 95% of games with them, can just be ignored. How the internet got people into a frothing rage about them is beyond me.

They encourage bad game design.

If you can sell 10,000 experience for $10, are you going to design a game that can be completed with minimal to no grinding?

You might think this doesn't happen but Ass Creed 4 and Soul Calibur 4 both did it. AC4 had missions with sudden cliffs of difficulty that even tell you "you should upgrade the Jackdaw before starting this mission" and SC4 had that infuriating Tower of Souls or whatever it was called.

- Although there are qualitatively worse music genres, rap is by far the easiest to ridicule.

- Solo was a good Star Wars movie. Definitely better than Rogue One.

It was certainly way better than people gave it credit for.

I legitimately have no idea how people came across glitches every four seconds like they claimed. It had several glitches but I probably only got glitched into a death or otherwise out of accomplishing an objecting like three times or so in my 100 hour playtime.

^Granted, I played it months after it came out but I didn't experience any glitches and the game was still pretty fun. It's only problem was it was just more of the same and there have been games praised for that. People were mostly just bitter that it was another team making it.

Awakening was passable but clearly marks the shift in quality and tone of the series.

Map design was sub par and and pretty much the same throughout the game. Not to mention that paired with the same Routing objectives took away even more away from the emphasis on playing strategically.

Game was just too grindy. Which didn't help with the class inbalances. There's no point in diversifying your teams when you easily get beefy stats and can plow through the game with just Chrom/Robin

They sacrificed a lot for the sake of focusing on the very anime tropey story and characters. I get that's always been a thing with previous FE games but it just seemed way more exaggerated in this title. And from that game on it continued.

I do not think repealing the second amendment would be particularly effective. If you say this in response to something such as a shooting or a homicide, you're unfairly grouping responsible gun owners with the murderer and some shooters would have this kind of reaction planned, thus making people unintentionally eat out of the palm of their hand. Gun grabbing is also not particularly logical in stopping gun crime.
