A lot of upsets tonight, I watched Tampa Columbus and witnessed that 3 goal comeback and the 4th to cap off the win and hand Tampa a game 1 loss.

I'm watching Sharks Knights right now and Sharks are dominating in every aspect of this game. I see them going deep this year.

Watching Toronto Boston, I swear the Leafs had 2 breakaways and 3 odd man rushes in the last 5 mins of the 2nd period. They look to be coming away with this one.

Also RIP Carolina, if I would bet on any series being a sweep, it's gonna be Caps Canes. They are getting clearly dominated in this game so far.

Damn fine performance out of Mike Smith. I wanted to turn the game off a few times to go game but then he kept making some incredible saves and I wanted to wait it out to see if he got the shutout. He did, Calgary took it 4-0.

This is way different than last year. They won both of those in OT, and Washington murdered them in Game 2 from a possession and shot attempt standpoint.

Outside of the first period of Game 1 they've absolutely fucking dominated Tampa for 5 straight periods.

I'll be honest, and i've been a fan for over 30 years. I thought Tampa was gonna steamroll the Jackets and take the series in 5 games. I'm very surprised right now, but game 3 is going to be a tremendous determining factor. Tampa takes that one, I think it's still their series.

Yes. To Columbus as well no less. But those first 2 games against the Caps were hard fought, Caps just came up short. So far the Jackets have straight up punked Tampa for the last 5 periods so it feels way different.

Fuck yeah to the Preds, and Bruins doing well so far tonight. Was hoping to see both of those series get knotted up tonight

It's still funny to me how St. Louis and Chicago basically have a reverse situation in hockey that they had in baseball. In hockey, the Chicago Blackhawks are the perpetual contenders and the St. Louis Blues are the chokers, but in baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals were the perpetual contenders and the Chicago Cubs were the chokers. All we can do is hope the Blues can reverse their fortunes like the Cubs did in 2016.
