Even in the books, Bronn always accomplished every single one of his fights and tasks and always got what he wanted in the end. He's not just a thug, he's a smart thug. He does not underestimate his opponents and capitalizes on other people's mistakes in a way that always benefits him. He knows when to fold and when to hold his ground.
