Oh so the update was both a blessing and a curse to guild wars.

All Towers now give 5% per clear. Previously 50-60 towers gave 3% per clear and 60-65 towers gave 2% per clear.

They also scaled the rewards to be linear based on tower level. I.e. In Hell before you got 600 points per clear. Now it's a sliding scaled based on level 600 for 55, 750 for 58, 900 for 60, 1050 for 62, 1200 for 65.

I say it's a curse because high end guilds (mine at least) care about contribution numbers and track them. Previously Nightmare/Hell needed 34-50 clears per tower and now they only need 20 clears per tower. So Guild Wars will get cleared waaaaaay quicker and some people will be caught out with low contribution due to it. Like we cleared Hell in less than a day after the update. If we run double Hell next week, we likely have both cleared by Thursday.

How does one get the currency for the guild store?

Joining a guild battle is in the guilds section if you are in a guild. I think you need to have been in the guild at the start of the week

Also if the guild is too small they can't start them. Think the membership minimum is 20?

Yeah, you should probably try to find an active one. The way to do it is you can preview the guild to see how active it is. But when you get to a guild that runs them, it's under guild events and guild wars. It's basically a character event where you have to fight enemies with waves. Depending on the level range you choose, certain hero groups get buffs. The goal is to get 100% completion on it to get maximum rewards.

I think the points you get are actually pretty generous. You can really buy a lot of class tokens with it.

For running Hell you get 4500 for completion rewards and like 3000-4000 for personal rewards

55 mats cost 800 for 10 (Max 80 per week)
50 mats costs 600 for 10 (Max 100 per week)
45 mats cost 400 for 10 (max 120?)
40 mats cost 300 for 10
35 mats cost 150 for 10
30 and below mats cost 100 for 10

It's the best way to upgrade people.

Got Tiaris after 60 pulls, so I now have every Princess in the game and am still just ahead of 2%.

I think they have innate resistance to non-holy units, and Listell isn't even weak to holy. Class advantage isn't always the biggest thing anyway.

I find Bozel's demon typing to be useful most of the time. It fools the stupid AI clerics into trying to attack him because type advantage and then doing 0 damage cause his magic resist is through the roof

Team level now 60. I'm so far behind in story and time rift though, got a lot of catching up to do. Plus forcing my way through level 60 aniki and dragon is gonna be a pain. I wish I had more epic spirits, I have a number of decent SSR gear that I would like to level.

You wait for her bond gates to unlock. Lot of them can't be unlocked currently. One of Bozel's requires him to beat one of his gates with Feraquea who isn't in the game yet.

I do, but only because I don't think there's any alternative, assuming you're not using her for her faction buff. Which I do atm for buffing Lewin in Thunder Dragon, but otherwise I keep Heavy Shield on.

Yeah, Freya is lacking in a lot of skills, but I guess 25% is alright.

Also, how the hell do I beat Scylla? The guy takes no damage and then he summons a buddy who can guard him and takes even less damage. No idea how to beat this.

The extra gates of fate are nice since you can sweep them. This one is a pretty big drain on my time and I mostly plan to pretend it's not there.

For the SSR equipment you can buy with those gold shards from the Goddess' Trials, what's the best bang for your buck?

I've done weapon every single time, but even so, I don't have any of the "best" weapons, or even weapons of every type (I have 3 different bows, and none of them are one of the good two).

Should I keep going for weapons? Or are Helmets / Armor enough of a game changer to be worthwhile?

Weapons are the biggest game changer because they are the biggest source of ATK/INT which is the most important stat to basically every non-tank except for a few exceptions that run off MDEF. The other source being accessories which are even harder to get

The other reason is that the weapon dragon rolls around less frequently than the others.

Some weapons are also massive gamechangers for certain characters (typically archers) whereas that doesn't apply as much with armor/helmets

Oh and they are 100% weighted towards the worse weapons.

I have gotten a shit ton of Peacemakers, Devil Axes, Frostrends, Hydra Bows. I have gotten very few of the good weapons and the ones I have gotten typically came from dragons/maps and not the store

Think weapons are generally best until you have every type you want, then the 300 ore spirits are probably best until you've fully upgraded those

Armor and helmets don't seem to move the needle as much though you do eventually need them. SR +HP gear is pretty okay though
