Well you're probably not gonna unless you want to leaf through about 600 boxes of notes in the Harvard archives or some shit. If you're actually interested, I'd recommend borrowing the book and looking at the studies it reprints in its pages first, as those are probably the easier ones to access. If you're not actually interested then go ahead and trust a random amazon reviewer who might not have even read the book and who may or may not have any history/research credentials.

The thing is, even if they removed taxes, prices would go up, and you won't be left with much more money, anyway. You can't rely on "the system" to take care of you, you'll have to take responsibility and do that yourself.

The problem with using open borders is that you alienate conservatives immediately, because they (correctly) identify open borders with a weird lefty "everyone can go wherever they want" sort of thing.

And you ALSO alienate the left as soon as they actually listen, and find out that no, you totally don't agree with them at all either, and that what you want actually probably offends their sensibilities even more than the current status quo (because it just means that immigration enforcement will be handled by private companies).
