Prompto LMR for the rainbow, and when I saw a gun, I thought it was Vincents. But it was Irvine chain. Is the FF VIII chain better to use in the torment than dr mogs? Thats the only place I can see myself using it.

You can also use Irvine's chain as a proxy Ice chain with Squall, Laguna, Rinoa, Edea, Qustis and Irvine himself can use the ice sharpshooter.

and most importantly, it lets you use a heal in the RW slot. that's why i think i have a shot against dwhale Gilgamesh if i can get Bartz AASB - just use Galuf chain with Dorgann and Bartz, and that mitigates the fact that my Lenna sucks. hell, might not even need the AASB, though i figure i may as well wait and see if i get it before trying.

i can do up to 8 (minus whatever i do on banner 3, which i'm still not 100% sure on). no set limit, i plan to pull until i get Faris chain, though i may quit without it if i get both AASBs, or like half the banner.

I have enough for 6 pulls, I'm really hoping I get an awakening this time. I did 6 pulls on the KH banner and didn't get an awakening and that left me real sour. At least the consolation prizes this time are better than junk keyblades at least.

I only budgeted for three 11-pulls here. Awakenings are shiny prizes and all, but what I really need is Rosa's clone of Elarra USB, and if I can't get that here I need to save 100 Mythril so that I can get the third try on the expected Record Dungeon banner (which should be "if you pay for at least two 11-pulls, you get exactly one free 11-pull.")

With that said, if I can't get any of the grand prizes here within 3 draws, I'll probably go for a fourth, and omit my planned draw on Banner 5.

I have 786 mythril left, and I told myself I was gonna stop if I pulled Terra or Bartz Awakening. But I didnt think Id get it first try, and have everything else on the banner left. No dupes except one BSB.

I know the feeling, I remember how pissed I was when I did 7 pulls on the Elara USB Ramza/Seifer chain banner and I only got 1 disco (Orlandeau USB which I could have Dream Selected soon after that event) and a bunch of 5* dupes.

That said save that money for the Dream selects next Sunday.

I'm starting to wonder if we should just hoard mythril until Guaranteed 2 5* banners come out.

The first one gave me Terra's Awakening (should have stopped at that point), and the other 7 just gave me a bunch of Cloud stuff that I don't give a shit about.

No Wind chain, no Bartz awakening, no Rosa.

Took Terra's Awakening for a test drive on Kefka and D220 Shinryu+Omega. She wrecked them hard even without a chain (Krile's imperil BSB though) but I lost two stamina because I wasn't aware Omega would do the instant kill gimmick early as turn 5 and I forgot to equip Elara's BSB for the Kefka fight and Divine Forsaken killed me.

It was pretty funny seeing the start of the solo Shinryu phase recover then Terra triplecast Meltdown and kill it "NOPE!"

Yeah, my first test drive of Bartz was against Phoenix and he lived up to the hype, but with some setup. Tidus used chain, Bartz first used en-Water BSB and then AASB and started doing tons of damage. The first time I was greedy and brought his triplecast LMR, but after that I used his sword damage LMR2 and was able to hit 19999x4x2 easily with the chain at about 50.

But next I tried Torment Gilgamesh a few times and he still defeats me. Bartz is able to do pretty good damage there but without Elarra everything's much slower and with Lenna's non-instant USB I have trouble keeping everyone alive. Blind means I need Ultra Cure which means less SB points than Curada which means she ends up slightly late on recasting her USB.

I think I might start doing D??? soon now I have an awakening, FF6 first obviously. Pretty stacked even without the Awakening (Terra USB1/2/LMR1/AOSB, Locke USB1/2, AOSB infusion LM, Strago super, Mog BSB and Relm USB) But I want to get some some more Hecatoncheir magicite for the lightning damper, and I'm going to wait until the AOSB select to get Bartz AOSB since that thing has evaded me so long (and I was hoping I wouldn't need to get it if I got the awakening earlier...) since that damn third phase is near impossible without AOSBs.
