Is it really a safe wise idea to even dye the whole Chicago River for St Patrick's Day?

all that green dye going into the water system where people drink water at home too.

It's probably a lot less harmful than the tons of garbage from the city that makes it's way into the river on a daily basis.

Tbf allergic reactions don't really count as toxic. Everything has at least one person with an allergy to it.

2 in the blue part of the NFPA fire diamond is "not quite harmless" all by itself.

From what I heard from Gunaxin is that it takes 12 hours for all of Chicago River to be green from the dye.

What Id like to know is that is drinking the water even safe if someone decides to stay home and drink water from the faucet?

Im not a city water expert or anything but I just dont think its a smart idea to dump a bunch green dye in city water like that
