I much rather short to mid ran shows. I feel movies hardly give my enough story anymore and It always leaves me feeling like I want more.

Do you think ots due to streaming services? For example, with NetFlix, you can binge a whole show with no stops. Giving you a lot of stories in individual pieces. Picking and choosing when and where to stop and continue. Where as a movie is longer. Not to mention, you can get more story within a season of a show rather than a movie...

Obviously, that may not be it. But I was just wondering if it was for you?

I feel like an hour and a half isn't enough time to get attached to a character especially if we're supposed to be sad they die at the end

Another question. How do you feel about the movie if it directly ties in to a tv show?

I don't think I watched anything like that. Closest would be Agents of Shield I am guessing.

Probably because the 2010s have been the worst decade in the history of cinema. Can't say I'm a big movie fan anymore, either.

It depends on what you look for in a movie.

2 to 3 hours is too long for a cutscene, and there isn't any interaction at all, and too short for a comprehensive story.

But then again, I don't watch movies for the stories. For example, I recently watched Blade and did nothing but laugh at and mock its CGI.

I'm thinking more and more about quitting the MCU after Endgame.

Especially after Captain Marvel and its forced feminist propaganda as well as Brie Larson's attitude and wooden acting.

Yeah movies aren't good enough for me anymore either, I need to spend more time with my characters so that I actually give a crap about them.

C'mon I just want to watch a fun movie without any real life political issues in them.

Like Infinity War. That movie was awesome and didn't have any of that depressive shit.
Well, except for overpopulation I guess but that worked really well with the movie and Thanos was an all-around awesome character.

I can't help but think that people who prefer TV to film tend to watch shitty movies. Most television shows inevitably falter in later seasons due to cast members leaving, clashing egos of writers, or other unforeseen circumstances. They rarely ever feel like a cohesive whole.

My current favorite show is probably Altered Carbon on Netflix.

That sounds interesting. I noticed that there's a recast in season 2, but it actually fits in with the story. That was one thing I always like about Doctor Who.

Everyone has sleeves(bodies that you can change). Like the main character is an Asian guy, but is in a white guy's Sleeve. So the main character could be recast as a woman and it would still fit in the show.

In fact one of my favorite scenes involves someone's grandmother in a GREAT sleeve.

It makes perfect sense. I like shows that are short or mid length compared to others. Like They idea of the Simpsons running as long as it has is beyond stupid to me.
