Leaving the signal on is a rare occurance, not signalling drivers happens far too often.

Turn signals are hit or miss for me. If youre making a right turn in a non designated right turn lane, use your signal. If youre making a left turn in a designated left turn lane, its pretty obvious youre making a turn. If youre merging, use your signals. If youre making a left or right turn into a parking spot, use your signals.

Me, I use them regardless as its second nature to me.

Not all. Not even a lot, IIRC. It's probably a newer feature. Though, there have been older cars that had a neat feature that got removed for no reason. Or for a reason not many people knew about...

I'm the same. But I also drive lots of bigger vehicles. So, I'm just use to always using it. Some people think it's weird, but it works for me...

Yeah. Theres a turn I make on my way home from work that involves turning right onto a side street from a surface street. Because theres often kids or people crossing, I turn my blinker on after passing through the previous intersection, giving any drivers behind me like 50 feet of awareness that this guy is turning right. Gtfo my bumper.

I dont mind close to the speed limit (though going 5 under when its something low like 10-20 still can make me mad since were already being slowed), but I do understand being frustrated at slow drivers. Like if its a one-lane highway or other things...

Where I live people going 10-15 under is quite common. I used to be scared to pass people. I got over it thanks to them.

On topic people not using their signals it's almost cause me to be in a accident more than once where someone just decides to get in my lane ahead of me with no warning and little space between us.

Only once have I seen someone forget to turn them off and I got a good look at them in their side view mirror and it looked like they where smoking a joint.

People turning on their signals way before their turn and slow down well ahead irritate me too though but I let that slide on the chance they just don't know where their turn is.

I disagree. The limit is generally referred to as the maximum speed limit, hence "limit". Now, the rule of law is to not obstruct traffic, so driving at a speed so slow that it's slowing down traffic and creating a chain of cars behind you is usually illegal.

If you're driving at 50mph on a two-lane street with a 45mph limit and you're approaching a car traveling at 40, pass them if you legally can. Don't be mad at them for not traveling above 45mph when they have no reason to.

sometimes when i'm going the limit or a little under and some moron starts taligating me and i speed up slightly... then they just speed up and keep tailgating, i have zero reason to go faster at that point. i find it funny when they think slightly swerving back and forth behind me will make me go faster

It's amazing you took what I said as meaning I think they need to go above the speed limit.

The speed limit is what you're supposed to drive, not 5 under, not 5 over. If you're going 5 under you're going to obstruct traffic, which is what you said in against the law.

If you're going the speed limit on a road, and someone is going 5 under, there's a chance you and any other cars going the speed limit will be stuck behind them thus obstructing traffic.

Ok, but either way I wouldn't get upset at 5 under. I know it's a ticketable offense to go too slow but I doubt 5 under qualifies. And they could have their reasoning for it. Like when i was learning to drive my mom would get mad that I would actually do the speed limit, I didn't want to piss off other drivers but in hindsight I should have been more worried about my safety (and others had I wrecked) rather than worrying about pissing some asshole in a rush off.

You're rather someone not use their blinker or leave their blinker on instead of driving below the speed limit, indicating that you don't like it when people drive slower than the limit of how fast any vehicle should be driving on a road, disregarding weather and conditions.

Depending on where you live, the speed limit is usually imposed as the limit of what was researched and evaluated as the top speed for a road. If someone is driving 50mph on a road with a 45mph limit, they're speeding, but low enough that would likely be excused by law enforcement. Any higher and you're risking a ticket. Driving under 45 would be considered driving safely, with the exception being driving lower at or lower than 35 which likely be hindering the flow of traffic.

Any "chance" of obstructing traffic when driving 5 under is a small chance. If you have a problem with them driving 5 under, then by all means, pass them if you legally can. Just don't pitch a fit when someone's driving safely and you're speeding off.

Where I live the law I you can not exceed the speed limit to pass someone. So someone going 5 under is a no go. What I hate is the fuckers that will speed up when you try to pass them. Dick was doing 40 in a 55 and I ended up exceeding 70 mph just to get around him because just as I started to get ahead of him while passing he accelerated hard.

Then you got them special idiots that go super slow in no passing zone but speed up to the speed limit when it is a passing zone. I swear the roads are full of people like the internet, they live to piss you off.

I just remembered one of the first times she took me practice driving I forgot about this 90 degree turn over rail road tracks and I ended up taking the turn at full speed and as I did I yelled "GTA mother fucker!" And she was "NO! NO GTA!"

For whatever reason doing that I instantly thought of that line which I wanna say was from a resident evil movie where a guy said after running over a zombie
