Very very surprised we're getting another RD banner. Don't think we've ever gotten two main banners from the same game in short succession like this before. I'm not complaining, of course, just wish Haar didn't get relegated to a free unit :/

We finally get a good RD track, something the game has sorely been lacking. This banner is all the motivation I need to not spend orbs on Idunn

Well, I made it to T20 in Ar. Have 100 lift above what I need to promote and there's less than 20 hours left so I can't lose more than 80 worse case scenario.

All thanks to Water + Light week. 110-120 per match really helps me out.

I thought I could finally get into tier 21 this week in AR, but I had a really difficult time with my offenses and even lost against a 2+1 today >____>

Now have to wait again for Light season with Eir as bonus :(

Pretty crazy to see a banner with three guys on it; hopefully they will actually demote one of them this time. Mordecai's kit revolving entirely around Smite is pretty delightful.

Oh god all armored beasts get DC when they're transformed. That will be fun.

Out of interest, what problems are you people running into when trying to reach AR Tier 21? Even with just the free Eir and free Light Blessings you can reach 140 points per battle. While that doesn't make reaching Tier 21 easy, it feels like it should be doable for long time players who care to aim for it (so I get why Lopen isn't there).

Well for me it's not wanting to try too hard(also don't feel like switching the blessings on Nino and Lloyd).

But also I don't have any real tank. No one I can Smite in a cancer cube and have it kill half the team. I guess it's a mixed tank I'm looking for. I guess my team is mostly made of supportive units.

Legendary Azura, healer, and Eir. The latter usually focuses on repositioning people out of danger or goes for the aether pots while my main two attackers fight off the enemy team.

I think lack of interest is the main reason, people either don't care or are not willing to put the effort.

I'm already in tier 21 and have been for a while now, because I thought I could just chill once there, and getting there as a non-spender with just the free Eir made me hate AR really fast, with many weeks falling short by 20-40 points. I can see why others wouldn't bother.

Besides, a lot of people have probably not invested in units that can tank more than 4 enemies at a time and kill them back regardless of range and weapon triangle, which makes it far less frustrating overall. I was hard carried to tier 21 by my +10 Odin, but without him I probably would've quit trying to reach it.

Yea, I'm lacking a real heavy-duty tank. I lost against the 2+1 because they had Eir, Lewyn, Ophelia, L!Azura, H!Micaiah, and I forgot the last member, but it's very difficult to have someone who can take on all those hits and survive

Haar is Gerome with 1 less Atk and Res but +2 Def. Default weapon is Brave Axe+.

It probably is doable, but I don't care enough to try. It's not fun. I do the minimum to stay in tier 19, and haven't bothered to hand out light blessings to my units.

Yeah I'm bummed that we really have a huge shortage of green/red cavaliers and the ones we do have are the most boring ones (or in peri's case, the worst fictional character conceived by man)

Give us Sain and Franz goddammit. Even Cecille would be fine. At least we have my main man Luke.

Have we ever gotten a Desperation banner?? I have more Iceberg fodder than I know what to do with. Desperation is always in need and I'm still baffled by how there is only ONE 3-4* unit with it

Free is fine if you have good stats or skills to make up for it. Naesala isn't a bad unit, for example. The problem is that Haar was denied both. Even worse is that he's a GHB unit instead of a TT one meaning you have to drop 20k feathers if you even want the Brave Axe+ in the first place

I don't even know the dude and I feel bad for him, no reason not to give him a better kit when Cherche exists.

Though apparently he starts off with a Brave Axe in his game? Hrm.

In happier news, a ticket gave me a free Caineghis!

+Res/-Atk but even that isn't so bad with 33 base attack(Not to mention the stats he'll get when he's a bonus). Worse case, I'll have DD4 fodder in the future.

You know powercreep is real when -Atk is not that crippling these days. I got +Atk/-Def Caineghis as well as a dupe Nailah from my run through this banner. Not sure if I should merge Nailah to get rid of the original's -Atk or save her as fodder :/

Speaking of pity breakers, I noticed the recent changes really benefited the colourless pool. The only units you can pull at 5 star on new unit banners currently are:

Brave Veronica
Caineghis
WF!Hinoka
Leanne
Loki
Maribelle
Mikoto
Nina
Velouria

Obviously I'd prefer a focus unit, but I don't think I'd be disappointed with any of those, especially with how the colourless pool used to be.
