Well happy to see Rutger though he was basically a mortal lock. Idunn might be okay with good art. Who could possibly want the other two. I'm sure Lugh is just there because they can reuse assets.

a new all time low in activity for me... i did 4 arena battles on easy in the last 5 minutes of the season. didn't have time for a 5th to get those refining stones. dropped to tier 17.

i didn't do even one battle of AA or AR

Arena was oddly difficult for me, and I was only in t 18. Must be because I had to use Alfonse(So many fucking horses that don't score shit as a bonus). Seemed like every 4th or 5th battle I'd fuck up. Especially if Legendary Azura was involved.

Speaking of which, I'm probably replacing Ephraim with her. Tired of his ass getting doubled and killed by anything that deals magic damage. +4/+3/+3 is outdated anyway.... Granted it could only conveniently be on days where the bonus isn't infantry.

I forgot to do AA some weeks as well. I appreciate the rewards, but I don't use up too many refining stones all at once, and I stockpiled up to 417k feathers until I dropped a bunch of them to +9 Lloyd just now. Basically doing a whole lot of waiting. Hopefully nothing tempts my orbs for another... 6 months? Maybe then I can actually get something worthwhile.

(Spoilers: I absolutely will be trying to merge Bridal Ninian when a good chance to occurs so it absolutely will be sooner than that.)

I outright forgot to do Arena last week. This week I remembered and got my five wins off, but yeah. Interest in the game is definitely waning at a rapid rate. I didn't even do any of the last tap battle because I didn't feel like it, even if it's a lot of easy orbs.

I ran through the Tap Battle all in the last few days, and they made it so you don't have to go through the whole thing to get the Orbs anymore. They aren't regular rewards for clearing floors anymore; there are just two quests that get you 5 apiece. Just doing Extra Stage 2 was one, so that only required doing two Tap Battles.

Lugh has Rally Up Res+. It is tied for being the top scoring Assist skill for the Arena. Lugh won't get demoted since that would make the skill too easy to get.

Hope Rutger's GHB starts without him on the map, then he appears on enemy phase 1 and immediately kills one of your units.

I thought Thea was a Shanna alt at first. Her and Lugh both have very bleh art, especially for Lugh. That, coupled with the fact Lugh barely comes with any skills, makes me believe he is the demote. Idunn is the only one worth caring about, but they didn't go crazy on the powercreep this time

Klein's Argent Bow is a prf Brave Bow as expected. Has built in Chill Defense as a refine.

Sophia's Eternal Tome is a prf Raventome. Has built in Bracing Stance as a refine.

Sonya's Dark Excalibur refine has a built in Quickened Pulse. Except better (-2 special on turn 1)
[I believe Merric can also get this.]

Delthea's Dark Aura gives her +5 Atk/Spd if near a sword/lance/axe/dragon/beast ally(Basically anyone who her Dark Aura normally buffs).

Ranged Cavalry is finally getting a stat boost. Sue has +1 to base stats and +10% stat growth. That's even better than Bow Lyn who only has +10% stat growth.

I expected that to be Sonya's refine. Wish it were something more long-lasting instead of "bomb going off on turn 1 and then bust". Mine is -Spd so she needs a lot of help :(

Pretty odd they didn't cockblock the obvious chase for the new banner while Sue gets cockblocked, but she is not super desirable

No demotes from the Fates beasts banner, bleh. People theorising that there could be two was fanciful, but to not even get one is stingy.

Took me 60 orbs to get Idunn. +Res -Def so not the worst. Her defence is so stratospherically high that it can afford the hit.

Nice. I'd like to do a grail project as well, but I just don't find Aether Raids fun and haven't touched it in months, so I get grails at a much slower rate, ha.

I do aether raids just enough to stay afloat in tier 19. I might have enough to do one also, but haven't decided who. Leaning Valter.

I got lucky in that I liked Aether Raids enough to progress to tier 20 and my strategy of focusing the defensive fortress makes it easy to maintain rank since I rarely lose defenses. I haven't done much beyond the 5 matches per week since hitting 20 though. It gets really degenerate at the higher tiers and isn't fun.

Like I still think Aether raids would be fun if the mode had a banlist. Veronica, Hero Azura, Ophelia, Surtr, Armored Dragons in General, uhh... that might be it, honestly. I guess Tibarn is kinda obnoxious too.
Maybe also do the one dancer restriction.

But yeah when every team you face has at least one of those it gets old fast. And it's not even like, it's too hard. It's just a tiresome flowchart. I've caved and have been using Hero Azura myself on offense just to break Veronica a bit easier since you can usually just plunge straight into their ranks with a move + dance 3 move, which while reckless will hurt them a lot more than you.

I managed to find a team the AI could handle autobattling on a grand hero battle yesterday so I got to really buff up sp and feathers.

Then I upgraded the skills and weapons and the ai can't handle it anymore : (

Man, we haven't had so few banners going all at once for a while. Just the New Heroes one and one more day of the Sweep Skills one. We'll get the New Power one tomorrow(or Thursday? Are these things still a day off?), and the seasonal banner on the 19th/20th.

Apparently this week in AR we get an Astra and Dark blessing.

Free draw + tickets + drawing all reds on each + one extra draw got me Idunn which is cool I guess. -Spd +HP seems like one of the better natures for her. I didn't count but I think I spent about 40-50 orbs all things considered. I hardly remember her from FE6 (may have been only in the extra final chapter which I didn't actually get in my playthrough?) but she's cute. One of the better VA jobs in the game I think.

Also got Laevatein which I could not care less about.

She's in other parts of the game (most notably the early chapter where Hector dies) but yeah the true final chapter is the only time she's really prominent.
