Not the cheap pieces of crap they make now. The ones that were practically made of diamond and didn't fall apart in 3 months.

Why are controllers so garbage nowadays? Even the expensive ones have numerous durability issues, just going off of reviews and comments.

Also, wired would be ideal.

Good luck. Still have my wired controller from a launch arcade system (even though the system itself didn't last anywhere near as long). Still going, though buttons stick now and the analog drift is horrible. :P

Ebay, but you have to be careful and look at the description/pics carefully.

To be perfectly frank, the Rock Candy 3rd party controllers they sell in Wal-Mart for the 360 have been far more durable and effective than any official controller I ever bought from Microsoft. And they're both wired and much cheaper than the alternative, which might make them perfect for you.

I understand why someone might be wary of their quality, but I've never had a problem with them, while I went through like three different shit controllers when I was actually buying the official ones.

Wow, really? Those things always looked so cheap lol Like they were aimed at kids or something. I'll check one of those out.

Well, with the official 360 controllers, my first one started having the A button stick after about a year or so of hard use, then the second one I bought started having the same problem with the B button in about the same time frame. One of them also started having problems with analogue stick drift, where it didn't center properly so it was always moving even when it was supposed to be at rest. And pretty much every one of those controllers eventually started having issues with the battery pack where it wasn't making proper contact (so if you moved the controller too fast or just jiggled it a bit it would shut off).

In contrast I bought the Rock Candy controllers a few years back (not too long after the Xbox One came out and official 360 controllers started getting scarce), and I haven't had a single problem with any of them in spite of them getting about the same amount of use (and abuse, if they get dropped or the like).

So while it's possible the Rock Candy controllers ARE cheap, they still seem better than the actual official controllers that you're going to pay 2-3 times as much for.

Of course, that's entirely anecdotal. It's entirely possible that you could buy a Rock Candy controller and it craps out fairly quickly. But even then, if it only costs half as much, you can easily afford to buy twice as many.

you mean those giant pieces of crap?

idk why you would want asymmetrical sticks anyway, symmetrical is vastly superior....

I just moved and couldn't find my wired 360 controller afterwards (I use it for my steam games etc). I ended up temp using my ps4 controller but it doesn't work for all of th em, even in big picture mode.

Two days ago though, I found it in my pasta pot lol!! No clue why I had it in there (other then it being hard to move controllers without the analog sticks getting damaged I guess). Was so happy. I have had this thing since the original xbox was released and it's worked great all this time. I even have a wireless 360 controller for my xbox...but still use the wired one instead cause it doesn't use batteries.
