Now if I remember right, Kinzo's fascination with western culture begins with Beatrice. And nothing in the flashback contradicts this from what I remember.

BUT,

Kinzo had his children (or least everyone but Rosa), before meeting Beatrice, BUT he still named them western names????

She's more relevant than most of the fantasy characters. In Ep 3, 5, and 6 she's often helping Battler get his shit together. In Ep 4, my interpretation is that she represents Kumasawa assisting Sayo in committing the murders.

I've been debating this. I keep wanting to say "It's written to be solvable" but then I think it's too much. Maybe we can revisit this kind of thought after ep 3, where Virgilia explains how this all can make sense and be solved.

I just feel like he's missing the point in a lot of ways with his comparisons to how Phoenix Wright/Danganronpa structured their narratives. There, the mysteries have to be solved to advance the story. Here, not so much.

Yeah, I think Dels basically reacts just as how Ryukishi hopes the readers would (including why EP3 is made to be 'easier' with the help of Virgilia.)

He's getting an idea of how to think of options! This is my first time watching someone else go through it and it's amazing to experience.
