Stylistically Jade being a revenant makes so much sense that I can't hate it and practically wonder why she wasn't that way to begin with. Like her whole moveset works better with that flavor. Kinda don't care for the coloring though.

Great idea suspicious execution. Hopefully an alternate color or something looks good.

There's something about revenant Jade I just don't like design wise that I can't put my finger on. Maybe it IS the color palette, but whatever it is I just don't like it which is a shame because she was one of my favorites to play as in MK9. I've always loved stick and staff users and Jade has a really cool original design so I hope I can play her with a human skin too.

I don't sweat the outfits too much because it's been noted there will be a ton of outfit kustomization, so there are likely plenty of options that look better.

I think it's probably the color pallette. Pale green on dark green doesn't look great.

Oh geez that's gotta be it! I didn't even notice that she was greenish gray instead of blueish gray like the other revenants. Whyyy in the world would they do such a thing? Just because her name is Jade doesn't mean you have to tint her green. Just make her revenant skin a little darker than Kitana's and Liu's and call it day. <_>

But then I am conflicted because I would LOVE to hear the intro dialogues.

So the Kombat Kast today is going to be about the mobile game, if anyone cares about that. They said no kharacter revealed today last week, but Tyler Lansdown says tune in to find out. So if anything, it will probably just be a costume reveal or something, if anything.

But probably not worth tuning in if you don't care about the mobile game still.

Johnny Cage Ninja Mime has been an in-joke since MK9, so I think it's a play on that.

I also loved his stunt double grabbing the opponent. But the fatality is among the best ever.

I've never been a huge Cage fan, maybe more middle of the road, but wow that reveal trailer made him look REALLY good. His animations are so fluid he really has that shitty hollywood fighting movie style down perfectly now.

I dropped MK10 after about 2 months so I'm trying to avoid getting hyped but they're really doing a good job of selling this game.

ok, it looks likely based on this and another leak that it's a 27 character (+ Shap Khan) roster with 25 base and Mileena and Shang Tsung as unlockable characters.

some of the choices are a little weird/disappointing...hopefully the story mode will justify some of that.
