Holy crap why did I never listen to more of the Killers. I liked their first album way back when, but I never kept up with 'em (edit: oh it was because of the oversaturation of Mr. Brightside on the radio). Started listening to their album Battle Born and it's fantastic.

Modest Mouse is another good one, giving them a more serious shot today. Always loved "Float On".

Sheesh there's a lotta bands though

The Beatles (Rubber Soul)
Pink Floyd (The Wall)
Guns n Roses (Appetite for Destruction)
The Cars (The Cars)
Led Zeppelin (Houses of the Holy)
Jimi Hendrix (Axis: Bold as Love)
Tom Petty (Full Moon Fever)
AC/DC (Highway to Hell)
Rolling Stones (no particular album, mostly based on their singles)

And gee, for the tenth? Those nine are pretty solid but on any given day the last spot could change. At the moment I think I'll give it to Creedence Clearwater Revival (same note as Stones).

Hey they inspired System of a Down so they can't be all that bad.

Honestly a few of those bands are probably headed to the chopping block, likely to be replaced once I get back to googling random artists. This topic already gave me a lot to sift through. Which is great! I crave some variety.
