While I don't recall exactly what, I'm almost certain I've heard of her advocating some of the more-extreme leftist policies. Could be wrong though.

If she is actually reasonable, then the next step - for the campaign, don't worry so much about states that are already solid blue. Focus on the swing states. Yes, it might earn you "brownie points" to go to your state and preach to the choir, but it'll do zero for winning the election.

ultimately, i've concluded she's someone you want as your financial policy adviser, not someone you want as chief executive. there's some non-cerebral aspects of the chief executive that she just does not have.

granted, trump doesn't either, but it's less him beating her and more the next republican with charisma in 2024 that i'd be worried about. she'd do a poor job unifying the country, and it's a shame, because she's the 'first female president' that i really wanted in the last election cycle.

luckily, the dems have breadth in this area.

I'd agree with this, but at the same time, I don't think Warren, at least right now, would beat Trump.

I think people are also under estimating the level of effort Trump has put into maintaining his base. He, with far more regularity than a president probably should this far from an election, is often out in some blue collar town giving rallies at the same time the dems are doing something. Nearly always in swing states.
