I always know that no matter where I am or what podunk town I am stuck in, I am always within walking distance of a Subway. In that way, it is like McDonalds or Starbucks. Not good by any stretch, but just so many of them that you are going to be forced to eat it eventually. --- I am a senior software engineer. Which is why most people, when buying a Subway, buy two. I dont think its all of them, but I think most. Thats how it was back home and here. I don't think that Subway could blow up as a new chain offering the quality they have today. Subway sort of is/was masquerading as fast casual though.
