So this is a topic I posted on another board, trying to get some opinions and have an additional question

Havent had long term relationships, its hard because I dont know many people at school
Usually Im the kinda girl who sticks around for a night?
Idk how to say that without it sounding really bad. Its not like any girl or guy who flirts with me, Im selective I just dont have relationships really.

So a girl I have seen around but not talked to much (she always seeemed to busy and to not have time) finally ended up talking to me during break.

2 issues: shes 16, Im 18 as of this month.

And Im moving for college in a couple months. Is there even any point in flirting with this person?

They tend to just say youre male or pics

But also have some people saying in a terrible human being.

In my defense I was attracted to this girl last month too (before I was 18) and shes 17 in 5 months so were only a year and a half different.

Posting here since the others are rude but.I posted my posting here since the others are rude on the other board! Im really embarrassed but also hoping for reasonable opinions.

Ah, dont worry about the age difference, but figure out the laws where u live about that. Most places youre allowed to be in a relationship with someone whose underage if theres a 5 year difference between the two.

I believe its called the Romeo and Juliet Law. So, youre close enough that the age shouldnt matter. As for whether or not because youre moving, do it. No reason not to.

Honestly Im largely just excited because its so rare I meet people genuinely without my sister, or more recently my little brother, to help so since she came and tried to talk to me and stuff its just really exciting

I think the law is actually there to stop them from being put in the sex offender list. As long as the under age person gave consent, is between 14 & 17, and is no more than 5 years younger. That being said, youre right to still want to look it up as it may not be universal.
