Nothing. It's better for your body if you never drink it again. Try to avoid corn syrup, or even large amounts of empty carbs from things made with proper sugar. Eat good food in moderation, maintain some level of physical activity, and you'll feel better all the time without feeling that you need to have a milkshake to chase the sads away.

The blood carbonates itself, actually. Carbonic acid/bicarbonate is one of the blood's pH buffering systems, as well as being the means by which carbon dioxide is transported.

Yeah, diet sodas really are not any better for you than regular sodas. They're both unhealthy.

The stereotype is that obese women love Diet Coke because they think it will help them lose weight. Yet, they still remain obese. "Diet" drinks are not really "diet" at all. I have an obese aunt who has drank nothing but Diet Cokes for like the last 10 years. She is still as obese today as she was 10 years ago. She's probably more obese now actually.

Im dependent on soda.

I wish the sparkling grape juice came in 2 liters, though. Would make a good soda substitute.

You need to have a soda subscription. That way, you wont forget to drink your soda every month. But remember, you cant let you mom cancel it. NEVER!

I've been trying to give up soda. I do ok for a week or so and then I start drinking again. It's worse than alcohol.

I quit soda once for like two years but once I started it again I haven't been able to go more than like a month. I've gotten mentally a lot weaker since then I guess

I tried an artisanal black cherry soda, it was thick and terrible - later I realized, I was drinking bottles of cough medicine, ok?

It's been close to 17 years since my last soda. I don't miss it, but I barely noticed much of a difference, health-wise.

For some people, they wont really notice a difference. For different reasons. Like if they were drinking in moderation. Or stopped drinking before certain age...

Calling it soda/pop/coke is mostly a regional difference in the US. Most of the east and west coasts call it soda while most of the midwest calls it pop, and most of the south calls it coke.

Yeah. I knew it was more of a regional thing. Haha. But its easy to tell in the military. Elsinore you travel to different areas. And since the people in are from all over. Haha.

So it might be because you stopped early. With younger people, depending on their genetics and metabolism, drinking soda (heavily or not) wont really do much. They may be able to only drink soda and still not gain any weight or seem unhealthy. But as people get older and their body changes, then soda can start to affect them. Not everyone, and not at the same time for the people they affect. I mean, it will probably still have some affect on everyone. Even if its just a little... but that age is usually not before 18. And usually close to high 20s and all 30s when the change happens. I believe...

I think I had cranberry, cherry, tropical, and another one I cant remember. I just remember I grabbed four when I was at the gas station around the corner... I do like those machines, if they are the ones youre talking about. With like all the flavors they have. But Ive only seen them at Qdoba and Six Flags, I think...

I think I may have to check to see if any of the theaters around here have them. I havent been to a theater is like years. Or it feels like that. And I usually dont pay for the ones I go to. But I may go more often if they have one there... Haha.

Almost 3 years ago, AMC bought a movie studio here. But closed it earlier this year. So, no close AMC theaters...
