IIRC for Smash 4 they didnt even say which fighters were adjusted in their patch notes so its something i guess

They also adjusted approaching challengers difficulty which I assume means those are easier, made the matchmaking more strict, oh love this one they did "Various gameplay fixes" (should have saved that one for E3.

he's easily the best heavy which is why people are saying he's OP, but he's easy to punish and very predictable

Seems I was right according to the link above.

An update:

As some of you may have noticed, there's much less for this patch as a whole. The majority of catalogued changes are mainly bugfixes, and many character Discords have reported no gameplay differences for a good chunk of the cast. It seems likely that the majority of the changes that are not known at this point are just bugfixes, if not all of them (alternatively, there may be changes to less competitively oriented features like final smashes or visuals that we're not aware of at this time).

Because a handful of these changes do affect gameplay (namely Pac-Man & Z-dropping out of hitstun), it is likely Nintendo just classified these as balance changes. We will still be attempting to figure out what has changed regarding fighters, but just be aware that it may be slower because some of these characters were not known to have major bugs or issues with their programming.

It's not terribly surprising given the recency of the patch compared to launch, but ultimately we're happy that this is more of a first run as we adjust back into doing these routine cycles (it's been some time since 1.1.6 Wii U!), and we look forward to working with you all in the future.

If they make even half assed notes then nobody has to do guesswork. Blizzard, the shittiest gaming company in existence, does it better than this.

This is why I grinded on launch day to unlock every char. Cause I knew they could patch it out on doing the exit trick.

But really though some of the challenger fights were stupid hard until I got Corrin the New Challenger destroyer.
