He plead guilty to misdemeanor corruption of a minor as 2 felony charges were dropped in part of the plea deal. He ran away down south with then 16 y/o Amy Yu as the girl's family were friends with his family as they even invited AMY to their FAMILY VACATIONS since Amy was friends with one his daughters too!! He apologize during his plea but claims their relationship was "innocent" and it was NOT SEXUAL!..the teenager also claims it wasn't sexual either. Prosecutors said it was Amy's desire to leave the country and he decided to JOIN her after that!!... Amy said "He said if i was going, he would have to go" noting Kevin was the closest thing to a father she ever had and stated "I realize Kevin made a horrible mistake and should have physically stopped me" They flown to Mexico on one way ticket with her own money as mexican authorities tracked them down. His estranged wife, Stacy filed for divorce soon after they returned and she is struggling as a single mother now. Stacy said "My 11 y/o got approached on the school bus by an 8th grader who asked if she was going to be a child molester like her father" The judge expressed doubt that their relationship was never sexual as Amy even gone as far as changing documents that listed Kevin as her STEP FATHER that enabled him to check her out of school 10 times too and fleeing the country on 4000 he withdrew..
