I like playing werido classes . The classes that don't play like the others. Like in wow I loved the Brewmaster monk.

It's a tank class that is based around delaying damage instead of reducing it or healing through it. It takes more damage overall than mitigation based tanks but it's a lot harder to die to large bursts of damage.

I dunno about unique, since I haven't played a ton of dungeon crawlers, but I really thought the maid class in dungeon travelers 2 was neat. It's a pure support class; it has skills to

- restore a % of an ally's hp
- restore a % of an ally's mana
- sacrifice all your mana to restore to an ally (with a multiplier)
- speed yourself up to get turns more often
- passively restore % of entire party's hp/mana after each battle

You can basic attack too but the class doesn't get any good weapons so you basically never do that. In addition, none of those skills cost the maid any mana, so it's basically like a way to just add resource regen into your party but let you target it toward specific characters.

Speaking of which, the mediator was really useful and unique in FFT

At one point when I was a kid I based my party around the mediator, just using everyone else to tank damage and protect him while he just kept using Invite on all the enemies to help draw them to my side

it actually worked fairly well, even with Invite having a pretty low chance of working

Wild Mage in Baldur's Gate. they cast spells that do random effects. and it can be something good for you, or something bad. The entire class is based about sheer luck

I really love the concept behind the geomancer in FFT. You get a different magical attack depending on the terrain you're standing on. Each one has a chance of inflicting a different status effect.

Also, Divinity original sin 2. Since you can learn any skill, you can create any sort of class you want.

However, being a spear using polymorph based class of any kind is really unique.

Yeah the class itself sucks due to abysmal speed but the skillset is the most broken of the base classes
