I thought he was pretty cool. Liked his design. Seemed pretty badass and intimidating, up until the obvious twist. Wouldn't mind seeing more of him in something.

Felt bad for him due to his backstory. I liked him though along with Ghirahim and few other villains.

Nintendo did gamers dirty with that twist... we had a legitimately intimidating villain with a lot of mistique who was finally gonna be a main villain who wasnt Ganondorf, and Nintendo just threw all of that out the window with one cutscene & boss fight.

It's almost like Nintendo had some internal feud about who should be the main villain and the guy responsible for Zant must have left midway through and the guy pushing for Ganon took his spot and said "fuck your Zant, I'm gonna make him a bitch".

apparently he had an interesting voice.
