Like, the show was two parts - the Ren Fair where they try to stay in character and their home lives... I think it was a sitcom.

I'm pretty sure it was a real thing, but I don't think it did well... I think it only had 6 episodes or something, so IDK, can't remember

There was also the show "The Guild" which wasn't exactly like that but kinda close. Started this one unknown girls totally career actually (she's charley in supernatural and a buncha other stuff now).

Felicia Day was also a cosplay model. At this point, she's geek-famous for being geek-famous. Most of her cameos, etc, kinda suck. Honestly, I think the only thing I actually liked her in was Doctor Horrible.

I can't argue with this, though.

The Guild basically opened that door for her and she's exploited it for everything it's worth ever since.

At least she IS a geek, though. I don't mind attractive women (like Day or Morgan Webb) using geekdom as a path to success if they're actually sincere in their own geekdom. I just get annoyed by the ones who clearly don't give a shit and just use it as a means of working their way into "real" media because they know horny nerdboys are easy to exploit (*cough*Olivia Munn*cough*).
