They're useful. Just don't over-rely on it. Rolls go stale in this game if you use them too often, which means they take longer and leave you vulnerable longer

Holy shit is cloud fun af to play. Hes like Smash 4 Falcon but with a sword.

This engine rewards aggression over defense. Only dodger when you really need to. Parry is going to be really useful, but I honest dont see it being used that much in tournaments. I feel its too risky to try and get perfect.

Like I was just hitting A to jab combo, and it turned me around and just whiffs? The controls of this game are starting to piss me off tbh, why do they feel less consistent than every other Smash game to me?

Idk about turn around, but I do notice that my inputs sometimes get delayed. I think it is because its wireless.

The game itself has a pretty large input delay, so it's most likely that.

It's probably coming from snapback on my stick and the way buffering movement and attacks works in this game. I'm used to Melee where there's 0 buffering for that kinda stuff so maybe it is me. /shrug

It's been pretty noticeable for me too, it probably has something to do with the input buffer (not necessarily a bad idea, but it could use some tweaking for the aforementioned reason)

This game is frustrating at times. Are the hit boxes tiny in this version? Feel like I can't hit anything unless I'm close enough to kiss them.

Corrin is a part dragon part human, and is the avatar character from the latest Fire Emblem games.

Witch time is her counter

Bat Within is when you block as you take damage

I'll have to play her more. Since I still have like fucking 30 people to unlock though there are probably some other good ones waiting. I notice Falco is still nerfed Brawl falco, so I don't care about him. Paletuna isn't bad, people are right about Little Mac but I'm a bit reckless with him. Incenoroar seems to suck, I'm not sure how his unlock fight was so damn hard.

Glad I'm not the only one struggling with the cheese in WoL. Those 8 vs 1 battles are rediculous. Can't even tell what the fuck is going on half the time. Just getting juggled to a ring out until I get a lucky break on my 50th try.

Yeah I used the spirit board to help grind out character unlocks so I was pretty well off when I started WoL

I feel like just collecting every spirit you see on the spirit Board is still a solid alternative. You're gonna be collecting more spirits than you normally will in WoL. There's no restrictions on accessing any fights. If you wanna go straight into a 4 star fight you can. Otherwise you can pick and choose the fights you want to have.

I collect literally every spirit I can no matter their strength because they can potentially be fusion ingredients for stronger summons.

Even having duplicates is nice for rhe 1 point spirits because they stack. Having 2x hyper smash attack from Victini is nice

Enhance spirits if you can. There were a few 1 star and two star spirits I wouldn't normally look at. But enhancing them increased their rarity and gave them solid passives

Its really fucking dumb but when you go to select your character you have to press B to get rid of the logo.
