PT was one of my most-used back in Brawl, and Charizard became my #1 main in Smash 4 with the improvements he got. I know that the 'fatigue' factor that forced you to switch more often is gone in this game, and Squirtle alone seems like one of the better characters in the game based on what I've seen. Theoretically someone could use Squirtle the entire fight now, only sparingly mixing in the still-decent-but-not-as-good Ivysaur and Charizard. It makes plenty of sense too and let's you be as strong or as weak as you want with little difficulty.
