Unfortunately that isnt the only person who could view the info. He was the first one to come forward and bring light to the mistake but a few other people posted on their forums and reddit confirming they could also see support tickets that should have been private.

Most of those were gone after NV.

Not to mention, Fallout wouldn't "fallback" to anyone. Bethesda owns it. There was a lawsuit around the time of New Vegas about this. So if Bethesda went under, the IP would be sold to pay off the debts. And you can bet that it's going to go for a lot of money to a large developer.

Im sure EA or Activision would be happy to buy it

Its just one thing after another with this game.

This is right on the heels of their community manager saying that theyre gonna be much more transparent about upcoming changes in the game and their plans going forward and then just a couple days later they implement a ton of stealth nerfs not at all mentioned in the patch notes to gameplay that was already fairly balanced.

All while ignoring a ton of glaring issues that never should have even made it to the full release of the game. Currently a ton of weapons in the game are absolutely useless.

Energy weapons break completely after 1-2 clips. Legendaries that fire explosive rounds cause enemies to become unkillable. Heavy guns do less damage than unarmed punches. Rifles meanwhile weigh around 20 lbs each and are the only weapon type that dont have any perks to reduce their weight. Right now pretty much everybody at high level is using either melee or shotguns because nothing else comes close to being as viable in combat.

They could have avoided so much bad PR and embarrassment if they had just called the title early access and pushed the actual release date. The subreddit for the game is totally on fire and I seriously doubt they can ever right the ship with this title.

Jesus fucking christ. Now theres a glitch that can be recreated that totally deletes everything from your character including your pipboy and allows you to crash entire servers at will by interacting with another player. Im sure that wont be abused at all.

Granted I am not a regular video gamer, as such my most played game even in 2018 is football manager 2013, but i see zero point getting games on release day any more. let other people find the bugs and bullshit first, and spend less money as itll go on sale sooner rather than later in a lot of cases.

the modern era of AAA games seems to suck, hard, in some areas and one of them doesnt seem to be actual game quality.

It's pretty funny that the biggest budget games tend to be glaring trainwrecks at launch. Battlefields have been pretty bad the last while and I couldn't even play battlefield 1 and had a support ticket open for about a month or so.

They at least comped me a game which I got to pick which turned out to be Mass effect Andromeda. Except I never got it. Im not sure if they just forgot or deliberately thought I was better off without it considering how that went down.

Oh I think they're definitely getting sued now.

Reminds me of my last year in college, someone was e-mailing everyone's GPA around the department. Except instead of e-mailing it to the Dean, they e-mailed it to ALL of the students. It was quite funny, but yea major fuck up.
